Since I'm the sole intellectual property holder of these works and I haven't died quite yet, you've at least 70 more years to go before what you've done is admit intent to commit a federal civil crime and solicit others to do the same. Hey I’m new here so not entirely sure what is going on lol but from when I read it I think he was meaning the creators of yelena are not producing or selling anymore (the agencies company) but he does buy from mtj etc. not sure really though. It could just be me but that’s how I read it

At least someone read the post lol. Yes I know mtj is alive and well. I just bought the new pepper parks comic (highly recommend it btw) but the agencies closed down about 2 or 3 years ago. Never pirated anything but with out the ability to purchase agencies comics i turned to this to obtain the last agencies comic I don't own not knowing it was going to make this type of shitstorm

Hey man I was just curious, as someone who was to young to legally buy the comics when the company was around, how can I get my hands in any of your comics? Do you have like a buy month where you resell comics or am I just screwed because I was to young to legally buy them?

This might be unpopular to say and do, but to be quite frank, I think it needs to be stated directly, because you don't get to shutter your business and then shuffle off as though you are an elder producer statesman when you utilized some of the practices you did, as well as false advertising as much as you did when it came to the more explicit elements of your content. You never were someone to look the other way to try and make a buck, so how about this:

When you see someone on this board make a post about wanting to procure an issue of an Agencies Publication, how about rather than the sanctimony, you contact this prospective buyer and talk with them about how they could legally obtain your content. You may reply that you shouldn't have to go to them, they should come to you, and fair enough...then maybe include something in your profile about if someone is interested in purchasing Agency comics, to contact you directly through a PM. Or, hell, set up a burner email account or something.

People don't engage specific materials like this if they aren't interested. I know this because, as those who know me know, I'm a bit of an archivist and a collectionist. Piracy is whatever, but right now, it's actually not the easiest to obtain pirated comics, and even for clips, there's limits due to pirates paywalling their stash through super shady means. There aren't great central hubs. Now, back to myself personally, many years ago, I became quite fascinated with a Yenny comic released through MTJ titled No Mercy. At the time it was released, I was maybe just of age, and even still, I had no disposable income. When Ozzy pulled Yenny from the MTJ collection, everything vanished. Sure, there would later be limited blurbs where Yenny comics and strips would be available for a limited time only, but never No Mercy...and that was because the content within was extremely risque. For whatever reason, someone I know shares this comic with me. Blows my mind. But it ends on a hell of a cliffhanger, and the person sharing is just like, helluva way to end it, right? Didn't set right. So I began researching. Digging. Found out what I'd seen was just the first part of No Mercy, that there was a part 2. I made mention of this to lots of people, but shit, they didn't believe me. I went through old logs and archives even, and while mention was made of part 1 on the old MTJ site, part 2 didn't really surface. The only thing I had to go on was old threads on here.

Believe me, I dug through every damn hole. It was an obsession of mine. And I wanted it, bad. I could have contacted MTJ Publishing about it, but given how mum they were, I didn't think that would have gone well. So then I started shooting random messages to folks from those threads to see if they were still about and had proof I wasn't insane. Turns out...someone had it. And it was gold, man. I had, in my hands, something that I'd spent years obsessively searching for. Nobody else gave a shit about this but me in the entire damn community, but I had it. I had it and showed my friend who had shown me the first No Mercy and said "look, look at me, I am Ozymandias, look upon my works and despair". I could have turned that comic into a side hustle. Yenny is the most explicit comic she ever would appear in? I'd of made a killing, under the table. But I didn't. I kept it to myself. A few years later, Yenny comes back permanently and so do the No Mercy comics. Anyone can buy them. And I had them. I had them for years during the drought. I was good.

I still purchased them. The day they were re-released, I paid MTJ the money for them. Now...I didn't have to. They wouldn't have been any the wiser. But I did. Because I thought it was right, and because I cared enough to zone in on it and seek it out.

Not everyone has my Indiana Jones of Tickle Porn skill set. I don't know this people in this thread. However, after you said what you said, you had two people talk about purchasing comics you hold copyright to. Now, you don't have operating costs anymore. You don't have to fund your web domain. You can engage in a transaction and utilize paypal or squarecash or whatever damn application you want. You could sell your comics on freaking gumroad. Point being, they care enough to even mention characters of yours, releases of yours, and that actually matters. You want to bust on copyright? Then do something about it or let it sink into the ether if you care that little about it.

I agree with you actually. I would hope the agencies comic bookstore would come back one day but it does not seem like it ever will happen though. Moreso I would like to ask many of these people if they use pornhub ever? I know they all do at one point or another jr have and that just brings them right to us as birds of a feather in “piracy” I guess lol. Most of pornhub is copyrighted whether we say it or not so I don’t see the huge issue some are having with this honest question that master93 brought up. Great piece man and very well put!

Really true. When a comic series can't be found legally anymore what can we do. I'm looking for some BAC Comics (in this case, "Wok Don't Run") but they're not sold anymore anywhere.
And for some it's not even as if they didn't want to buy it then but they were maybe not of age at the time and found it later when it was already out of the market. Some comics are pretty old indeed.
