Back Now,Gone for a While

Hi there,

Been gone for a few years almost.Still no GF or anyone I've opened up about this fetish with.I told one fairly close male buddy about just having a "foot fetish",& all he could say was how "weird" that was.Not very confidence inspiring.I've thought about going into therapy,but after all these years what good would it do?

Buddy, there's no sense in going to therapy unless there is something wrong with you. Having a foot fetish or tickling obsession is not indicative of mental or emotional illness. You're suffering from what I used to suffer and what many people still do - a profound embarrassment over your interest in tickling. Believe me, I know the feeling. But I made a conscious decision to re-evaluate tickling as something that's fun and cool, rather than awkward or embarrassing. Once you change your own outlook on it, you'll project your new enthusiasm onto others. They'll actually be curious about your interests in tickling and ask you about it.

Mate, we're wired the way we're wired when it comes to this...therapy isn't going to change the fact, although as Drew has already stated you *may* get a new perspective on it.
