Maybe I’m the only one? For years, on feet/tickling sites, people use the adjective “meaty” to describe soles. It’s really not sexy or attractive. I’m not even a vegetarian. I like a good steak. But I’m not a cannibal.

Am I an outlier here? If I am, I’ll deleted this post. It’s just always grossed me out.

Meaty?

I agree.

Wow! I'm glad I'm not the only one that feel like puking when someone uses that term! :p

Agreed. "Meaty" always carries a negative connotation in my mind. I understand that it may not be used in that way, but never once have I thought "Oh, meaty soles, I like the sound of that"

I love me some meaty soles, especially for licking and nibbling. I've always preferred a more plump pillowy foot over skinny, boney feet.

The populace is against it, therefore I must be for it. Just remember folks: you did it to yourselves.

Might as well describe them as "moist" for all the attractiveness the word "meaty" bestows on.....anything.

I asked because I use meaty as a keyword sometimes. Does dense sound better? How about ample? Plump sometimes can be construed as "fat", so I steer clear of that word.

I was only half-joking about "thicc." I genuinely like "thick" in this context. Or how about "curvy"? "Voluptuous"?

Whenever I see the phrase “meaty soles”, I always picture that one scene from SpongeBob where Mr Krabs is told he has “BIG. MEATY. CLAWS.”

I think it's a slippery slope to ask to remove certain descriptions of body parts based on one's associations with different words, because everyone feels differently. If one wants to stop using 'meaty' to describe soles because they feel it has bad connotations or reminds them of cannibalism, then where does it stop? For example:

Should we stop using the word 'soft' to describe soles? What if people associate that word with soft-boiled eggs? Is it then vampiric to say soles are soft?

What about 'hard' or 'juicy' that are often used to describe different types of genitalia? If someone likes hard candy or juicy chicken, then shouldn't those terms be considered gross?

If someone likes voluptuous figures, and they consider such figures to be plump, will that offend lovers of plump turkeys?

I think in general we, as a foot/tickling/porn/whatever "community" have a problem with overly-purple, florid prose and various "trigger" words that are included in things purely because the people writing/reading them are getting off on seeing them. I mean, barring the stupid "lee/ler" nonsense we've adopted here, take a shot every time someone here uses the words "exposed", "helpless", "sensitive", or "vulnerable".

I think people who, for lack of a better word, type "normally" - occasionally get fatigued about this stuff and depending on their associations with the words in question, may think that the people using them sound like they have heads in their freezer, because "normal" people don't talk like that. And honestly? Nine times out of ten, they use this weird-ass vocabulary with normies, who consequently think they're creepy, and then they come here and cry that "women don't like my fetish".

There's something to be said for how you present yourselves, and this is not the way towards the wider acceptance many here seem to crave.

Think about it.

Interesting. I don’t really recall seeing or hearing “meaty” but I totally get foot fans opinion on this either way. We all have what works for us and what doesn’t. Some of my favs are:

Soft, smooth, creamy, sexy, sensitive and of course… Ticklish!

LOL! You're funny. But yes, I also agree 100%
