You have said so much in this post and while reading it I found myself nodding my head in agreement. I am also in the UK and there is a very strong sense of as a woman you can and should be able to do whatever you like and I find that also includes you MUST do whatever as well. I am basically in the exact same boat as you. I don't love being asked which female celebrities or wives of various members I want to tickle.
