Tamesha had just scored her first major story at her new network in New Orleans. The producers asked her to interview a well-known voodoo practitioner to prepare for the upcoming Mardi Gras season. Tamesha was excited and intrigued by the allure of voodoo, even though she believed it was all fake. She contacted Jazmine, the voodoo doctor, to set up the interview. Jazmine accepted the request and invited Tamesha to her shop.
Tamesha arrived at the shop and was welcomed in by Jazmine. The inside was filled with shelves with vials of potions, various ornaments, dolls, masks, and other voodoo paraphernalia. Jazmine answered all of Tamesha’s questions, even though she could sense the skepticism in Tamesha’s voice. The interview concluded with Tamesha paying for her time with Jazmine and bidding farewell.
A few days later, Jazmine received a notification from her bank that Tamesha had disputed the charge on her credit card. Confused, Jasmine reached out to Tamesha and asked her what was wrong. Tamesha simply replied that the interview wasn’t worth the price, leaving Jazmine furious. Jazmine warned Tamesha that she would pay for her deed as Tamesha laughed and hung up the phone.
One of Jazmine’s demonstrations with Tamesha was with an ancient comb that would help hair grow. Jazmine quickly retrieved the comb and pulled out a few strands of Tamesha’s hair. She went into the back of her shop and broke out her spell book. She placed the strands of hair in a wooden box and closed the lid, before adding a few drops of a potion on top of the box and reciting a spell. The lights flickered and the table shook for a few moments before stopping and returning to normal. Jazmine opened the box to see an exact lifelike replica of Tamesha's meticulously pampered soles.
