favorite alcoholic beverage?

What is your current favorite alcoholic beverage?

I'll start. I've grown quite fond of Mike's hard apple cider.

Well, for all intents and purposes, I kind of stopped drinking. I do, however, have a few beer every now and then.

Right now, my brew of choice is Molson Canadian.

I also like Kokanee Gold.

I'm not supposed to drink now, due to my BP meds, but, when I did have drinks, when I was in my 20's, my favorite drinks were Vodka and Cranberry Juice, Vodka, Cranberry and Peach Schnapps. (I believe they were called Sex on The Beaches, and Woo Woos). I also drank screwdrivers, and wine coolers.

I've also fallen in love with a Tom Collins. The Tom Collins is a type of Collins cocktail made from gin, lemon juice, sugar, and carbonated water. The sugar is made into a simple syrup.
# 2 ounces gin
# 1 ounce fresh lemon juice
# 1 teaspoon superfine sugar or Rich Simple Syrup
# 4 ounces cold club soda

I just downed some cherry vodka + black cherry koolaid, and I have to admit it wasn't bad at all. But I'm a big fan of just mixing whatever random shit I can find into one gnarly concoction and being able to stomach just about anything, so... yeah, lol.

I've done this a lot myself.

Have vodka + whatever beverage on hand = some interesting mixes. I'm not a huge fan of flavored vodkas but the idea of the vanilla vodka + coke sounds interesting.....might have to try that one.

But my fave drink is Long Island Ice Tea (top shelf of course).

Lately when I go out, I just get vodka and water, sometimes with some cranberry juice thrown in.

That way I don't get uber tubby, or get a hangover the next day, with all the drunken awesomeness of the night.
