Problem solved indeed! I mean, after 30 years of pride marches we can now say that discrimination has been successfully vanquished. Seriously, these have achieved nothing, save for an outstanding display of bad taste and the annoyance of the neighborhood. I am glad I live in a country where this kind of stuff is banned.
I do not dispute the reason behind it, mind you. Discrimination, real or perceived, is an awful thing. I have been a victim of racism a few times in my life, but I have never felt the need to parade under a giant banner with a swastika, a megaphone in my hand, yelling "white pride". That's just absurd. And I surely don't want that to happen to our community (we'd replace the swastika with a feather I suppose ^_^).
