The new Batman game looks awesome and it's due to come out in August 2009.

I'm not counting my chickens on this one. Batman may be one of the greatest fictional characters ever created, but they have yet to make a completely solid video game out of him. I'm not saying it doesn't look awesome, but I remain skeptical.

Not the video game nut I used to be, but I played a demo of this one at EB, I think. Gorgeous graphics, but I worry about gameplay getting monotonous. Maybe it's me and my Street Fighter mindset, but at least give me one button for punches and one for kicks -- just having the one for attacking seems a bit ehhh (even though you can have a charging attack)... The video of it here implies much more variety than I saw in the demo, but maybe it opens up more after the first level.

I know that's Kevin Conroy's voice back as Bats, but is that Hammill as Joker, or someone else?
