The reason I titled this thread with that this might be a non-orthodox thought with regard to this community. Okay here it is...

Do you ever get bored with it? Does it ever get old?

The reason I am asking this is that I don't have that much enjoyment in watching clips anymore. It just seems mundane, like I've watched them all before. Yeah, every so often there is a special model that will grace a small screen, but not much any more. They all are beginning to look alike. I'm not meaning in a physical sense, as they of course vary in features, but they are just not very different from each other. Does that make sense? The bondage, or setup of the clip, just seems the same, even though there are obivous differences. The tickling and ticklers, although very different, just blur together in their uniformity. I know it is contradictory, but although there is so much difference, everything seems to be the same.

Does anyone else understand or go through these phases?

But what then do you do? Are you more selective in vids or seek more for a "first-person" approach?

Maybe that is my problem, lack of a first-person approach to this part of my identy.

All videos are the same. There are no differences at all. Tickle central is the worst (also because that guy is a big smiling idiot).

Ok. Calling the man a big smiling idiot might not be nice, but I believe it to be true. He ruins his clips, for me, by being in them. He shoul wear a balaclava and give himself a cool nickname. Tickler in Black sounds good.

I really love tickle central actually. I really like the dialogue between tickler and ticklee too. It is very attractive. I suppose my feelings towards the guy are tinged with jealousy that it is he and not I that is tickling those great girls. If anyone is reading this thread, go and check out tickle central. I'm glad I'm not the only one! I've pretty much bored with the clips and have found that more and more I'm here for the interaction on these threads. I still love the mainstream clips, though, and can watch renfaire clips all day!
I'll have to check out those tickle central clips, I don't know if I've seen those.

Anywho...yea, I get bored with it to. Even the "real life" stuff. Sometimes I don't even have the urge to tickle someone when I have the chance. Its like anything else in life it kind of ebbs and flows.

I'm not bored of videos in general, but I do find that most producers go through a stage where I find all their work interminably boring and repetitive. But it passes eventually, only to be replaced by another.

Oh, and Newcastle Uni, I find your complete change of heart to be totally hilarious and stupid. Are they paying you?

To make the obvious analogy, even if you love pizza, eating it for 3 meals a day for weeks and weeks is going to get tiresome after a while. So take a break from clips, and come back to them fresh.

All the videos ARE the same, sadly. TIB, TikcleCentral, and Paradise Vision have tried to do things differently, sometimes. I think the problem may be that when the producer has a model there, maybe the blank out, or are afraid to ask too much of them, or forget some great idea they had or someone else had. When you're planning to shoot something, like a fan film or wedding or whatever, you imagine all these great camera angles, but later when you have the camera in hand, you stand all the way across the room and just shoot from the standard "home video" angle, for example. I do this often, and many times have to really catch myself - all the people on screen are 1/2 inch tall, in one big wide shot, and then I have to get out of my mental box and do the close-ups and medium shots.

I think outfits and situations and camera angles in tickle videos are used so much people are just worn out by them. How many ways can you shoot a pair of stocks, or a girl spread eagle on a bed in a bikini anymore!?

Maybe some pre-planning and storyboarda may help. Maybe asking the models to do some more stuff may help. If you want a whole scene of a girl entering a room and sitting down to be tickled, why not shoot shots of her opening the door, close-ups of her feet walking in heels, etc.?

Another thing may be that people here imagine, or write stories, or do artwork that have hundreds of different tickle scenarios. Yet, the videos all look the same. Go to clips4sale, and pick a video company, and notice how all the videos feature the same thing over and over again. I mean, (these guys will hate me for criticizing them, but I aim no hatred or negative emotions in their direction,) but SilverCherry, Magic Touch, Yaqi, Bleufetish, French Tickling, TickleTown, and almost all the other unadvertised companies all look the same, most with the same outfit - little to no pantyhose tickling, little to no costumes or different outfits - bikinis, nude tickling, or just street clothes. All spread eagle on a bed, or in stocks.

I think that tickling videos now have reached the same phase as porn flicks in that there is just so many things you can do in a video without eventually start to be repetitive. I personally like to create my own thing like steph instead of watching clips.
