I was bored and this seemed like a fun idea. Some of you already know a little about me. I thought I would do this, so maybe you could learn some more about me.
Hey ya’ll my name is Heather and I’m a born and raised country girl from the state for lovers. Good old conservative, religious, and sadly some places still racist Virginia. Well I guess you now know how I feel about my home state lol. I’m not joking about the country girl at all. I’m surrounded by trees, fields, and scattered about houses. I can walk for miles and see the same scenery over and over. I have to drive an hour to get to any cities. A lot of people always say, “ Wow it must be really pretty where you live!” My response, “No actually I think it is ugly and boring, but I’ve been here all my life and I long to be living in a city.” Oh by the way I’m from southern Va. I’m located in the Hampton Roads area. Hampton Roads is where the cites of Norfolk and VA Beach are located. I’m also close to Yorktown, Jamestown, and Williamsburg.
Now I will get into why I never felt like a real true Virginian. This place is so religious and I’m agonistic. I just don’t like to say who or what is up there when I ultimately will not know until I die. This state is also really red (conservative) I’m extremely liberal so liberal I’m leaning towards socialist. Sadly in my area there are still idiots that hope the south will rise to power again! Ugh makes me sick when I see trucks with confederate flags on them! I cry when I listen to John Lennon’s Imagine. It makes me cry because I long for the world he describes, but know it will never happen.
I guess now I should talk about some of my talents. I’m a light lyric soprano that sings really high and might become a lyric coloratura. Operatic voices don’t fully develop until 30 (sad day). I’ve been taking lessons for about 8 years now. Time really files doesn’t it? I took private lessons in 8th grade. Then I auditioned for an arts school that I would go to in high school. I was really surprised when I got in the vocal department! I went for all four years of high school. We did a fully staged opera every year. I also took diction and theory classes. Our choir was amazing and I also had an opera survey class. Senior year of high school I started auditioned for colleges. I fell in love with Shenandoah Conservatory of Music. I will be graduating in 2011 with a vocal performance degree!
I’ve been told I’m an amazing cook. I learned everything from my 84-year-old grandma who is still alive (so is grandpa who is 85 and they just had their 60th). I use to sit on the kitchen counter as a little girl and watch her make stuff. I love to cook and bake all the time! I’ve been told I’m a regular Paula Deen! The more butter and salt the better. I believe there is nothing like a biscuit, which I love make from scratch all the time! Though I have to say my favorite thing to do is bake cakes. My friends love my cakes because I make them from scratch. I make the frosting from scratch too! I can follow any recipe and I’ve been cooking and baking for about 10 years! I’ve gotten to the experimenting stages of cooking now.
I’m a bi lee/ler. I’ve liked tickling ever since I could remember. I loved watching cartoons with tickling as a little girl. It really wasn’t until middle school that it became full blown. Although I kept fighting with myself because I wasn’t sure if what I was thinking was right or wrong. I finally started searching online and found Jockrope. That site is sadly gone now and I loved it! I found TMF in high school and I loved it because it made me realize I wasn’t alone. I lurked for a long time and finally in 2009 I worked up the courage to join. I’m so glad I finally delurked because I’ve met so many wonderful people on here! Also just became openly bi! I kept having this internal battle in my mind about whether or not it was right to like girls that way? I knew I found girls attractive and kissing a girl didn’t gross me out. I kept it hidden inside, but I finally decided what the hell I’m letting the world know! My saying for life, “Do whatever the hell you want and don’t give a damn what others think because there is no need to cry over spilled milk.” Well that is all I can really think of other than I love video games, anime,I collect records, and I love old horror movies (Vincent Price and Bela Lugosi are my favorites).
