How were you introduced to tickling?

Just wondering how most of you were introduced to the "art" of tickling? Was it a boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife?

My parents bought me for a joke a huge fluffy blue toy foot and it started there. Ironically, my aunt bought me a smaller more realistic plastic foot and it immediately freaked me out. Of course I was around 10 years old then. My interest progressed from the toys to tv shows to the internet.

I guess it was family that first showed me what tickling was...mostly my brother, man he was relentless!
But the "art" of tickling (as you call it) was definitely taught by one or two guys that I can recall being with back in college. I'll never forget the first time I let a guy tie me up (only my arms, not full bondage), and once he had me there he said "Ya know, I could tickle the hell out of you right now.." My eyes bugged out of my head, and I got totally nervous/excited/scared by the prospect of being tickled and not even having a chance at escape. Up until that point I had only been pinned down and tickled. I didn't share my love for tickling with this guy, although we tickled the hell out of each other on a regular basis (we dormed together on campus at my college). That was a pretty intense night, and after that I'm pretty sure that he was well aware of how tickling effected me.
I would also say that I've learned a thing or two about the "art" of tickling right here on these boards (obviously not on a first hand basis though). There have been some things that have been brought up in conversation here that I never considered before. We have the good fortune to have more than our fair share of very experienced 'lers and 'lees.

I, myself have only told a few close people. My best friend found my porn stash, which had a few tickling videos and magazines, he looked at it, gave me a strange look and then rolled his eyes and just said "Oh my God, are you a freak or something"?

He's pretty cool....he just does not understand as he is just pure "vanilla".

I still do not tell my family, because I know they won't understand. If I told them about tickling, they would look at me, as if I just told them I was gay (no offense to any homosexuals/lesbians)

They are very devout Southern Baptists and freak out when-ever I have a very occassional beer or "Satan's Drink" as they like to coin it.

They do not believe in stuff like that. They even think that sex should only be used for reproduction, and **never** for enjoyment.

At a young age of 5 by my mother and one of her female friends.
They would pin me down daily and tickle the living hell out of me.
Afterwards me and my mom would gang up on her and tickle her till she nearly peed herself.
The rest is history.
The older I got the more intense the passion for tickling and being tickled became.
