Huge Anime Tickle Thread

I’ll admit to my lurking on here for many many years, what’s your main sort of technique for finding stuff, gleaming through manga to see what crops up?

Okay, I'm going to share some hopefully crazy stuff in this post. Specifically method #3, which almost anyone would have time for and nets fantastic results.

There are three major methods:

#1: Download Raw manga magazines/volumes from Raw sites and skim through them. This is the most time-intensive method, but also leads you to find things that may never be posted by anyone else.

#2: Find threads similar to this one on imageboards and Twitter. This is the laziest option, since you're just monitoring the efforts of others, but can still lead to some good finds.

#3: Use Google Image Search. This is my real secret weapon, since people don't seem to know that Google's image search tech has improved to the point that it can now read the words that appear in images, meaning you can search for any image that has the word "tickle" clearly written on it.

For example: the search tickle OR tickling OR ticklish OR tickles OR tickled site:mangabat.com gives you dozens of manga scenes as results.

You can get similar results using "こちょこちょ OR くすぐり OR くすぐったい" for Japanese sites and "挠脚心 OR 挠痒痒 OR 痒 OR 挠 OR 好痒" for Chinese ones. This works for basically any image-heavy site and condense hundreds of hours of searching down to a few minutes. I've found at least 100 scenes (that I haven't posted anywhere) using this method.

In exchange for this forbidden knowledge, which I will include in the first post of this thread, you are all now compelled to share your finds using this method here.

I've been looking for scenes through google images for some time now but I haven't been limiting my search to just one site because when I tried it a few times I would only get a few scenes and the rest of the results would just be the rest of the pages from those chapters. Yesterday and today I looked through the results for several sites and I found some good scenes, both mangafreak and mangafast had a lot but I didn't find much from mangabat.

I didn't bother getting the names of the manga but I remember the three that look similar to each other are from Zettai Karen Children and the last several scenes are from Gacha Gacha Secret. Btw does anyone have the scenes from the tickletheater thread saved? I have some from the beginning and end of that thread but most of the ones in the middle were missing by the time I started looking at it.

Nice haul. If you find a site that has really good results, it's also worth setting the date to "this week" and favoriting/bookmarking the results page. That way, you can just click the bookmark and get the most recent results immediately. This is what I do for about 20 sites every few days.

Des you have my eternal gratitude for pointing out googles ability to actually detect the work from the image. it literally just gives you results.

EDIT: also don't forget about those korean type web comic sites like hyperdex and webtoon(dot)xyz (got the first image from one of those)

yup, looks like its just gonna be a good idea to build up a folder in your bookmarks of sites to search.

this also appears to work in japanese. so you can search through sites that upload raw manga and instead of searching the word tickle (and all its variations) you can try search for stuff like: くすぐり　くすぐったい　こちょ/コチョ
(or even laughter) はははは／ハハハハハ oh and maybe also stuff like やめろ also

"こちょこちょ OR くすぐり OR くすぐったい" is usually what I use for Japanese sites, "挠脚心 OR 挠痒痒 OR 痒 OR 挠 OR 好痒" is good for Chinese ones. "lét OR cù lách OR cù lét OR choc lét OR thoc lét OR cù léc OR cù chân" in Vietnamese, "간질 OR 간지럼이라고 OR 간지럼" in Korean... it's genuinely stellar!

You can look for common lee phrases too, like "please stop" or "I'll talk" or "I'm dying" in combination with laughter (Ex. "やめる AND はは").

Finally, consider doing "Past Week" searches for random manga titles and chapter numbers, since it's a good way to find new/active sites to search.

Also, here's a great M/F foot scene I've been hanging onto for a while from Chinese manhua "9 Years Of Compulsory Cultivation" (九年义务修真) ch.15
