Is it possible to not be ticklish?

I had my first session recently, and I barely felt anything. I've fantasized more about being on the lee side of things, so it was a bit disappointing. It was the other person's first session too, so I don't know if they were just inexperienced or if I'm just not ticklish. I was wondering if anyone's ever tickled someone who wasn't ticklish, or if anyone else on here is not ticklish.

Plenty of people aren't ticklish at all or barely ticklish.

I've known several people who either were not ticklish, had learned to ignore ticklishness, or were only ticklish in certain places with certain very specific criteria. It's much the same as asking if it's possible to not like coffee, or to hate the color green.

I'm not ticklish at all. Some people aren't.

It is possible to be a ticklish person, but not be ticklish in some situations. Maybe for your session, you were not in the right headspace, or maybe the two of you were not compatible. That happens, not all ticklees react to all ticklers, and vice versa.
If you both want to try again, discuss the session together, what worked and what didn't, come up with other scenarios.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I think I'll try again someday with a different setting to see if it changes anything. If not I think I'll try out being a ler primarily.
