Ok so I've been having no luck. I don't know whether if it's my location, if it's me personally, if I'm going about this the wrong way or what but I just cannot find a play partner. I realize this is not the first time or the last time that anybody has had this issue and that finding a play partner is easier said than done. I've been in this spot for quite some time now, being on here for about 3 years or so and no success and 3+ years on FetLife with a total of one tickling session to show for it (none for foot worship). That seems like a long time to me but who knows? Maybe I'm just impatient.

It wasn't until recently that I figured I should at least entertain the idea of paying a professional. I'm open to it and I feel like I have to consider it now. After all, I've found a few in my area. I'm still on the fence about it though. I mean, will it be worth it? Or am I better off trying to be patient for an opportunity that may or may not present itself? Is there value in the 200-300 dollars I'm spending for this? Or am I wasting my money? What are your thoughts? I want as much information as you can possible give me.

Let me make an analogy. A steak cooked for you by somebody who cares for you is a thousand times better than a burger prepared by a cook in a diner who is being paid to cook for the customers. But if you are hungry, then buy the burger.

^. That's probably the best way to answer that right there. Ultimately only you can decide if the experience is worth spending a little money on. It just matters how badly do you really want it.

Unless your trying to ask if people who have spent money regretted/endorse the decision?

If that's the case, I can't answer you I never have as of yet, despite being very much in the same boat as you. Just not many if any, that are truly interested. In my own current stage, it's not worth it for me. There's plenty of other things I need to worry about financially first, and it's something I've learned how to "live without" you could say.

I have no insight on this topic. However, when I read your subject line, I couldn't help but respond with "Let me work it. I put my thing down flip it and reverse it."

HAHAHA CTFU!!!!!!! Not gonna lie to you, I wasn't expecting a Missy Elliott reference when I posted this but I'm glad there was. Got a good laugh out of that.

 Well said. I appreciate the response.

I mean, sure, the burger analogy holds up. You could also just befriend the guy making your burgers, he might actually put some effort in then.

Really, every person I've ever met for a paid session has been really cool, for one. Of course, I've been lucky and managed to meet people who at least on some level were interested in it. As my one friend suggested, most of the people that have done this sort of thing have fun doing it on some level. Maybe being tickled isn't their thing but maybe being dominated or out of control is? And honestly, if you're paying them there's that too.

Truthfully, I'm also a pretty nice guy and I make friends fairly easily. I talk, I ask questions and I get to know the ticklee. I wouldn't say we were necessarily friends afterwards but my interactions have been overwhelmingly positive. I say that not only because of the burger analogy but also because it demonstrates that while it may start out as a business transaction there isn't any reason for one to walk away feeling like that it was only that. Honestly, even if that is the case, we're all people and that's just something I recommend remembering.

It's not every time and every person, sure, but we have plenty of doms here if you want to get their (lee as opposed to ler) interpretation on it. Porcelaindoll comes to mind. Anyway, what I alluded to is also just my personal experience and there's no reason to think that you'll necessarily have the same. To be fair, I always had way more fun tickling a S/O but I do enjoy making new friends as well. Hell, I ended up just sitting with Addie for about 20 minutes afterwards chatting. She's a really cool person, by the by.

I rambled a lot. Actual advice mirrors what was said elsewhere. It's expensive. If you really need the fix yes, otherwise whatever. I do it every now and then for sure but I specifically don't intend to meet a S/O any time soon, so I justify it that way. It's something I want and I'm willing to pay for it every now and then. If you're on the fence I'd probably just give it a shot and see how you feel about it. It is certainly different than tickling someone you know.

That said, finding people -- even if you're paying -- is difficult, here or elsewhere. You can try backpage but a dungeon is probably your best bet. Or if you're near any producers who would talk to some models for you (not a lot of models are into private sessions). I'd stick to either a dungeon or through a producer that you know is real. At least safer in theory.

Craigslist has been worth it to me.

Ok thanks! You definitely have some good advice there and I suppose it is worth a shot.

I mean, will it be worth it?
Only you can really answer that question.

Or am I better off trying to be patient for an opportunity that may or may not present itself?
Yet again this is really up to you and how badly you want to get your tickle fix. Sure you could keep waiting, but who knows how long of a wait it will be. Sure you can try dating sites and messing with vanillas, but they probably will never fully understand your fetish(Unless you don't care if they have a fetish for it.).

Is there value in the 200-300 dollars I'm spending for this?
Yes because your paying someone who is experienced in BDSM and fetishes. They will understand you and will know how to give you the best experience possible. If you're hiring a sub she will already be willing to submit to you. Professionals also tend to have lots of toys and bondage equipment. If you go to a professional dungeon you'll be surrounded by tons of toys and bondage equipment.

Or am I wasting my money?
Depends on whether or not you have the money to begin with. Plus yet again how badly you want your fix.

What are your thoughts?
The best advice I can give is to do a lot of research and when you do find someone you want to see be sure to explain to them exactly what you want because we are not mind readers. Also most pros don't offer escort or prostitution services if this will be a deal breaker for you. Fetish escorts do exist, but they are harder to find.

Depends on if you want the same Lee over and over (not a bad thing but seeing as you live in Delaware and I'm in Jersey I think I have an idea of the "system") and the feels that come with it or if you want to just. ...be carnal. If you're doing the sites and fetlife and all that, ya, it'll take forever, and ya, it's a pretty long streak of trial and error. Might burn you out. If you just want to see how you like "the whole thing" to feel normalized. ...maybe have a session. I don't know, I've always preferred dating. But it sounds like you feel like you have been waiting a while.
