I often hear people say its healthy to have fantasies, do you agree with that?
Are sexual fantasy different from fetish fantasies?

This question came to me when I had the thought of what if you write a tickling story (such as the TMF story section) about someone, and they(or anyone) found out?
Is writing down a fantasy too much?

What difference does this all make if you are in a relationship or if you are single?

Thanks for the input!

Does it really matter? I'd be flattered if someone wrote about me. But I suppose different people have different reactions. Also, I don't really see the difference between fetish fantasies and sex fantasies.

Well, in the case of the written word, I'd certainly ask permission before putting anything like that up. Granted, that would be if I had any writing skills whatsoever and said story was about someone here. Now in my case, whether it's about someone from the site or in my everyday life, I'd likely draw inspiration from said person, but not make it about them exactly. Make sense? Like I said, that's just how I'd do it. Everyone has their own ideas.

As for having fantasies in general, sure, why not? As long as you're not some pervert on the subway that attempts to fondle women's feet or something of that nature, it's all good. Keep fantasies to yourself, unless you find a partner that would consent to letting you act on them. Just my 2 cents.

It's not so much healthy as it is normal to have fantasies of ANY sort. As far as sexual vs. a fetish fantasy, because a fetish is usually sexual, I'd say they're pretty much the same thing, perhaps just one incorporates itself into the other.

Writing down a fantasy is not too much. It's where stories of any sort come from. The imagination. Using a specific someone as inspiration for a story isn't always wrong either. Publishing one in public and naming who your inspiration is before, during or after the story without their permission first, is.

Being in a relationship or not being in one makes little difference IMO. Your imagination is still intact and doesn't know, nor care that you're in a relationship and will carry on, business as usual. But if your fantasies become fixations and start to interfere with the actual relationship, then, yes, that would certainly factor into it and cause an issue.

What about the cases of tickling stories (such as the ones posted here) about public figures/celebrities?

^^Well said, Marquis... pretty much what I was going to say and actually just did in a similar thread :D

I think they get worse things written about them by the press. I don't think they'd even care if they knew what WE were doing.

Thanks! Which one?

Hollywood's been selling sex for longer than we've all been alive. In fact, they count on us fantasizing about them. It's what keeps the machine running. I think it's perfectly fine if we take the images we pay for in one way or another and have a little fun. :)

Got brains, will think

LOL.

If famous and beautiful people didn't want others to think about them and touch themselves, then they'd stop being famous and/or beautiful.

Simple as that.

:jester:

think there is a diff between fetish/tickling stories and sexual/porn stories?
i assume both exist right? i've never READ a porn story before, although im sure theres some that are close in the story sction here...

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having fantasies. There is also no difference between a "regular" sexual fantasy and a fantasy with fetish content.

It is never wrong to imagine things.

I hope the rest of the word feels the same way! :)

But what about actually writing them down or posting something about it online? (nothing against someone's will, except in cases of celebrities and such)

When I write, all of my characters are based on combinations of people I know. (Doing so helps me to see it as more realistic so that the story becomes more believable.) I'll take bits and pieces of people's personalities and combine them to form the personalities of the characters.

If you write in such a way that it's not apparent who you're writing about, I don't see any problem with it. Or you can do as others have and ask the permission of the person to write a story about them.
