Hi, my name is CH, and I'm a representative of the Tourism Bureau of West Virginia. I'd like to share with you some things to know about this fine state, so that this presupposition everyone has seemed to have made can be put to rest.
First of all, there is Charleston, a beautiful city. You can go to the State Museum, where you can see a large collection of antique hats as well as a telescope generously donated by George Washington himself.
Head on down to Harpers Ferry, where you can hit up the Appalachian Trail Conference Headquarters, the "psychological halfway point" for those people who choose to walk from Maine to Georgia.
There's the Smoot Theater, Locust Hill Golf Course, the Oglebay Institute Glass Museum, and many other wonderfully named places of interest.
So come on down to West Virginia, and you'll know why our slogan is "West Virginia: Our Dogs Ain't Bucktoothed!"
CH, Department of Tourism, West Virginia.
