Authors Note

Hi folks!

Many thanks for the support for my Julie McGee’s Adventures in Time series. A lot has been happening behind the scenes that I’d like to tell you about. This will be Dr. Dave’s last issue. Dave has moved on to other projects and new horizons. I want to extend my thanks for the work he accomplished on the series and for helping me get it off the ground.

I have been working with a few different artists since Dave’s departure in order to find a replacement. It’s funny, but I didn’t think to look closer to home. A good friend of mine that I had worked with on some mainstream projects had some downtime in his schedule. After going over some basic details, he decided to commit to the project. Enter “Newt Windsor.”

Newt will be the new artist on the AIT book as well as our offshoot project Pulp Tickles. We’ve formed a partnership using the name “Skeet Brothers Studio,” through which we will produce all our work. The Julie McGee character will be our “flag” character that will tie our projects together.

Our goal is to alternate projects between comic issues and pinup books. In May, we’ll be releasing a pinup book titled Julie McGee Presents Pulp Tickles. This book will be a collection of fantasy covers presented in the style of the pulp men’s adventure magazines from the 1950’s through the 1970’s. We’re very happy with the result and we’re sure you will be too.

Next up will be the next installment of Adventures in Time, where we will deal with a female pirate captain and her crew. After the pirate issue, we’ll move to a pinup book introduced by Julie that will deal with “photos” from her college days.

After the college days book we’ll be doing an issue of Pulp Tickles. The new format for Pulp Tickles will be a set of three four-page stories. The lead story will be a Julie McGee story with a rotating assortment of different pulp characters. The Julie McGee stories will take place on board the time ship where Julie and Kelli will experiment with different devices, work on the ship, and generally play with each other. It will help me keep you informed with plot twists that I just don’t have room for in a regular issue. I really want to keep the regular issues chock full o’ time jump action.

I won’t fill you in on all the pinup projects we have planned because we want to surprise you. Trust me---we have some really great things in the works!

I really hope you will enjoy the new direction our universe is taking both in story and art. We’re really looking forward to the coming year! To those of you that haven’t seen Newt’s art yet, the new bio sheets included in this issue will give you a taste. Better yet, be sure to catch the new pinup book on in May.

Many thanks again for being a fan.
As always, keep the faith.

Please enjoy the Cover Art and Page 1 from the comic Julie McGee's Adventures in Time Issue #2

I just bought this book. I have to say, I tend to find the majority of Dr. Dave's art enjoyable. The art has a rough edge to it, but is consistent and has a method to to it's rough form. The story content, like past ones by this team is a relatively simple plot, peppered with humor. The tickle to page ratio is 7/12 or 8/13 if you count the cover. The lead in to tickle content isn't too bad, and once it arrives, you get a decent number of pages. Those that bought the first issue will enjoy the second issue. The art gets a 7 out 10, and the story also gets a 7 out of 10. The price gets a 8 out of 10. I give this book a 7.3.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback.

I really liked this! Love the style and it was great fun! More!!!

Good work, guys! Can't wait for the next installment!

Many thanks for the support. This issue turned out pretty well. It's important in that it sets the stage for the new direction in the series. I'm really looking forward to working with Newt Windsor on the new issues.

Be sure to check out our new pinup book in May.

sorry to be a degenerate, but I'm curious, is there any nudity in this comic?

Yes there is some topless action in this issue. Might not be able to do to much of that with the new up coming artist, but htere is some here.

Things are starting out great for Julie and Kelli! It's a real treat to see these characters done in a new style, as well as having some classic issues like the toe rings delved into. And of course, let's not forget the many pages of sensuous tickling which are even better than last time!

When I was still learning how to do a story, I had known that certain concepts would always be used again and again, even on prominent Productions, and the difference would always be in the twist.

This is a typical adventure tale, but has a unique air in it. Okay. I love stories that start with unraveling something, especially at odd plot settings like weird cavy locations and dark atmospheres. This one had captivated me at once, plus the panels with dramatic lighting, no matter how “toon-like” the art might be. I am talking specifically about Page 1 to 3. Well, the tickling is great, of course.

I also love those small thingy pixies and how they had been implemented in the story. It’s never been easy to draw them without making the composition noisy, plus the attempt to put faces to make them visible. Such set will need more effort indeed, especially for traditionally drawn art as this, not to mention the obviously but artfully messed ink strokes.

Needless to say, this is a great comic. Good story and the art is just interesting enough to capture the imagination.

Have been meaning to comment on this since I got it last week, but have been stupid busy. :p

This was such a fun, and sexy read. I always have loved BZ's writing style, and the two of you have really out done yourself on this issue. The erotic tickling and nudity really added a lot for me personally. And I thought the storyline was a ton of fun.

Great work on this comic - I highly recommend it to anyone.

I'm kinda bummed that the two of you won't be working on future issues together, but the new pages and new look seems just as amazing. Best of luck on the new projects - and I look forward to more.

Many thanks for the support and the kind words. I had some fun with this story laying out the new direction. It's tough when you make plans for a series to go one way, then have to make changes, but I feel this new direction will be best in the long run.

This issue marks the beginning of the breakout for Julie and Company from the VU universe. I know this may be a letdown to some fans out there, but with the current schedule of all involved, it's necessary. Even with these changes, I promise the future looks really really bright.

I like adding humor in my stories and really don't want to take things too seriously. That's going to continue. What I'm really happy about is the change in artist. Newt Windsor totally gets where I'm coming from with the series. His style will lend itself to more exciting situations that I hadn't originally thought of. By using the Pulp stories to tell ship tales, and concentrating the Time Travel issues to time stories, we'll be able to add more action on the story telling side, and build up to better scenes on the tickling side. We also promise to offer plenty of posing, dangling, and dipping along the way.

I'm really looking forward to getting your feedback on the new pinup book that will be out in May. I'll be posting the cover on the TMF sometime tomorrow. I know things have been delayed with me in the past, but we're on top of things with this new partnership. The pinup project is completed and is just in the re-sizing stage. The entire project has been a labor of love that I'm sure will blow you away.

Keep the faith

Many thanks for the support Dragon. Being a fan of Tat's, that really means a lot. I can't wait for your next issue myself.

I rather enjoyed this comic.
I mean, look at the sample panel of those two scantly clad ladies, wouldn't you like to see them tickled all over their naked bodies? I bet you do, and that's exactly what happens in this comic. A wonderful little gem that is filled with erotic tickling.
While the first comic was pretty nice, I like this one even better, there's more diversity in the action, and as such it appears as if much more is happening in this issue. More action-packed; that's the term I was looking for... And being a big fan of Scandinavian mythology, the Nordic theme of this story was amazing. Kinda cool too to see how the enchanted toe rings still play a part in the series. And it certainly gives a direction to the whole of the Adventures In Time series. Makes me wonder where the next adventure will take us...

The art is wonderful. I needed to get used to Dr. Dave's drawing style at first, but now I've grown quite fond of it. It will be a pity to see him leave the series. But from what I gather, the new artist does some pretty awesome stuff too, so the future of the series is secured. :)

Absolutely amazing work!

Many thanks Scavenger.

I've been a fan of yours for awhile now and I really do thank you for the kind words. Dave's style does kind of grow on you, but with some cultural differences from one hemisphere to another, it was sometimes hard to be on the same page. Although Newt is outside the genre, he gets where I'm coming from. His style is exactly what I was looking for for these projects.

I think we finally have a handle on things for the future.

Many thanks again for the support

BZ
