I am a US Air Force vet that served during the 1st Persian Gulf War.

I still contribute and support my fellow service members and Vets.

In fact had a great time today with so many.

Ive lost quite a few of my family (military and related) over my lifetime and I salute and honor everyone of them.

I'm a 10 year Air Force Veteran, serving with squadrons at Nellis AFB and overseas at Ramstein AB, Germany. I've also been deployed to SouthWest Asia (Saudi Arabia) 3 times and did a deployment to Port Au Prince, Haiti. I still have many friends that I served with who are still serving, stateside and abroad. I have family members who have fought in the great wars of our history and who have left this life, some more recently than others, but through their honor we survive as a nation. I don't know about anyone else, but when i see someone walking around in uniform, no matter where it may be, I make it a point to stop what I'm doing, approach them and thank them. because I once wore the same uniform. On the uniform where it commonly says U.S. Air Force (Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard), take a good look at it next time. It doesn't say U.S. It says "US". Thank you to those veterans, active duty, guard and reservists on this forum and elswhere. Your service and honor has not been overlooked.....nor forgotten.
