So I recently got a drawing tablet to make covers for my serious work, but I'm thinking of inching into other drawing territories. My question is that, if you read my stories, how do you picture the characters. Like do you see them with realistic detail or as sort of anime like characters.

When I'm reading stories (particularly content on here) I'm typically imagining the characters with qualities I find attractive unless otherwise described by the author.

I would suggest drawing them the way you see them in your mind because everyone's going to have different preferences on here.

Speaking only for myself, when I read something I picture the characters with full realistic detail.:D

I try to picture them as real people. It’s fun “casting” a story. For example: I think Alexandra Daddario would make a perfect Samantha Storm.

I agree with the comment that you should draw the characters as you see them, you will love it and you will burn with your work, and fantasy will carry you to boundless space!) Good luck!
