Miss Universe contestants without makeup

These girls are the ones you'd see posting selfies on Instagram, or other social media. They look real, genuine, and approachable.
But then they transform into perfect-looking princesses and goddesses when they go out, or are in hugely competitive events.

For example, I checked Miss Ecuador's [Francesa Cipriani] FB page, and when I saw her photos, all traces of that fresh-faced down-to-earth innocence was gone.
