I'm sorry, but shouldn't she be charged for misuse of the 911 System?

I don't consider this situation 911 worthy

That just makes it into a forbidden fruit. It also destroys the sense of the home as being the sanctuary, if he can't trust his mother not to call the police on him. I could see calling the police if he were endangering others, but not for that.

I think this story is a hoax.

I mean, if it was a real story,
1) the kid would have been arrested for contributing to his own delinquency
2) the mother would have been arrested for misuse of the emergency rescue system,
3) with both residents in jail, the home would have been seized by the city as abandoned property,
4) the house and land would have been sold to private speculators
5) the remainder of the neighborhood would then be seized under eminent domain and sold to the same corporation that bought the previous house/property
6) and the city council would all get raises.

Amn mentioned this being a hoax. While I see his point, I'm not sure about that.

If this is a true story, the mother is at fault, both for overreacting to the situation, and most important.. for .. as someone else said, misuse of the 911 system.

At that age. most every kid is curious about sex. We had the Playboy Channel in my house, and my parents knew I watched it.

I think the mother should be charged with at least a misdemeanor.. of contacting emergency personnel when none were needed. A more appropriate reaction, would have been to have talked to her son, and gotten a channel blocker

I truly believe Parents should tell their Kids about sex at an early age. Explaining it doesn't mean they're gonna go out a do it.

When hearing about it for the first time, they should hear it the Correct way from their parents, instead of the wrong way from somebody else.
