Hi everyone! I just wanted to send a few shout-outs to the lovely people I spent time with this past weekend-- Thank you to everyone for your kindness, acceptance, and smiles!

Lee & the DMs: I appreciate all of the effort and time you all put into making this a wonderful event. You do an amazing job!

Persephone: It was great to get to meet you! Thanks for putting up with my occasional snores!

Blood: I am so thankful to have met you this weekend! It was nice to swap thoughts/stories about students! I can tell you are a caring coach.

Pokey: You're such a sweetheart! I'm glad I was able to talk to you this weekend!

Carol8961: You are so much fun to be around! Thanks for all the laughs!

TEX: You are so funny! I enjoyed the teacher/state-of-our-country's-education chats! (thanks for letting us squeeze in on your lunch on Monday afternoon!)

SealDan: You rock! It was awesome to meet you! I am glad I got to hang with you and get to know you! I had fun with you!

TravTick: I have to admit... one of the highlights of my weekend was just being able laugh with you! Laughter is good! lol (<<see?)

Nova: It was cool meeting you! I had fun chatting with you!

John(waitin2btkled): It was good to see you again this year! You're a cool dude. I wish you the best in your work this year!

Avenger314: I'm glad I got to know you more this year! I enjoyed our comic/author chat! I will forever have nightmares of the creepy clown smile.... haha!

Amnesiac: I'm glad we got to speak a little more this year! You're funny!

Rui: You are an amazing person! I'm so glad I got to spend time with you this weekend! Thanks for being a sweetheart! I wish you success in your work!

Desdemona: Thanks for the ride! I enjoyed seeing you around!

Alchemy: Thanks for putting up with my silly self on Saturday night... I wish I remembered the phrase you said that had me laughing uncontrollably. I loved the football chat! haha. Great job facilitating Texas Hold 'Em Friday night--I finally learned how!

falcon: I'm glad you were able to make it this year-- "Yay!" haha. Thanks for being patient with me. I enjoyed hearing more about your girlfriend.

DCJoe (mike): 'Twas cool to meet you this year! You have an awesome buddy and roomie. I hope and pray that you stay injury free during your marathon training!

Rustenexcel87: Thank you for being a wonderful friend to me. I am happy that you had a fulfilling weekend. Thanks for putting up with my craziness!

Hardy: I am THRILLED that you made it to NEST this year!! I will never forget the memories we made!

Libertine/KittenToes: It was a pleasure seeing you both again this year! The team Canada jersey presentation was a highlight!

Lamashtu: I'm glad you found your hat!! The next time I pick up someone's hat and give it to someone else, I'll make sure I know who the person is!

P_Bustleton: Thank you for making NEST that much more amazing for me this year. Thanks for letting me ride in your car to Nifty Fifty's, and for being so sweet! Congratulations on nearly completing your coursework--I know you will experience nothing but success in the future.

We will all remember where we were and who we were with when the U.S.A. caught Bin Laden! To EVERYONE else that I may have missed--thank you for making NEST '11 a family-like gathering.

Last year I passed a girl in the lobby who looked like she was at her witts end. She was so upset with how things were going. All I wanted to do was give her a big hug. I sat down next to you and we just opened up to each other. It was the start of a nice friendship. I was so happy to see the girl I met last year was not the one of a year before. She was happy always with a smile on her face and just a real pleasure to be around. When I heard you were coming back I knew my Nest experience was going to be awesome.
One of those reasons is because you're awesome.
