NEST Introductions

I'm certainly more wary now than I was at my last NEST if any of you remember me from that.

Oh yeah. I remember.

The name is Drew. Born and raised just outside Washington DC in Montgomery County, Maryland. I'll turn 50 years old on June 11th, the day after NEST ends. I can't think of a better way to celebrate my 50th then to hang out with my brothers and sisters in tickling! Yeah, it's a corny sentiment, but at least it's sincere.

I've been to five NESTs, my first being in 2002 at the Kama Sutra. That was the first NEST for a lot of people, to include Lite, Milagros, RChello, as well as Ann and Drew, the TicklingDuo.

I'm primarily a Lee, but over the years, I've discovered and developed to some extent a natural inclination to Ler as well.

Though my manner here in the forum is at times abrasive, you wouldn't know it to meet me in person. I'm genuinely glad to see everybody and I leave any personal conflicts here at the forum, where they rightfully belong.

I too look forward to meeting first-timers as well as my long time NEST pals.

I'd also like to take a moment and personally thank Max, Lee, Venray, Ann, and the others for their considerable efforts in making NEST happen this year. You guys rock and deserve a thunderous applause!

I have a interesting game called Clever Endeavor. Each card has 5 clues, the moderator reads one clue at a time. If someone gets the answer on the first clue, which is usually very hard, gets 10 points. If the second clue must be read, the person who can answer gets 5, then 4...3...and so on.

It's much more difficult than just trivia, I'd like to see Avenger get these! lol

OK, some of you already know me. But, for those who don't......

Hello. My name is Ann and I'm a tickle addict.

I'm a 44 yo happily marrried tickle lover. My hubby (TklDuo-Drew) is also a tickle lover. In fact, we met because of our common love of tickling. He came across my old Tickle Chamber site and dropped me a note. The rest, as they say, is history.

Though you wouldn't necessarily know it from online, I tend to be very quiet and just observe things by nature. But, the things I constantly get myself involved in challenge me to move beyond that. It's kind of a strange circle. I start out very quiet until I know someone. Then, I can get a bit rowdy. Then, when I'm really comfortable with them, I turn quiet again and just enjoy spending time together not having to do or say anything special.

My likes in movies, music and the like tends to be pretty ecclectic. There isn't a lot that I don't enjoy. So, I just go with what I'm in the mood for at any given time. I also enjoy doing a variety of crafts, cooking/baking, gardening, etc...anything creative.

I love the outdoors and taking walks in the woods or along a beach or waterfall when I can find a nice quiet area away from "reality". Fortunately, there are a few places close enough to take advantage of. So, that's happy news.

OK, I'll leave it at that for now. After all, I wouldn't want to run out of things to say before I meet you!

I think we still have a couple of versions of trivial persuit around somewhere, along with some others. I'm also nearly finished with making up my own cards to play taboo tickle style. For those not familiar with taboo, it's similar to password, only there's a list of words you can't use in getting your teammate(s) to guess the word. It's pretty cool. And if we're doing it tickle style, there can be penalties for the losers! hehe

I could probably bring Settlers of Catan... Carcassonne (sp)... Lord of the Rings RISK... Civil War RISK... we'll see; I don't know how much luggage I can take on board a train, and I've already got a few things I need to bring.

I love playing all kinds of board games and trivia games.
A couple of friends and I regularly meet up for a whole night of games.
I know taboo - I own one as well.
Playing it tickle style sounds like lots of fun.

Only about 50 times. But, who's counting? LOL We're looking forward to you (and everyone) joining us. I'm really excited to see how many newbies we'll have this year. Soooooo cool!!!

Oh, and bug... You don't need yahoo messenger for the chats, just a yahoo ID...which is free. (Actually so is yahoo messenger.) It's going to take place in a restricted yahoo group. So, it will be chats in that chat room and e-mails back and forth for those who are in the group.

FYI, I made stocks last year (with assistance!) , which belong to NEST
and this year I'm making a ticklee-proof st. andrew's cross, and there may
well be other equipment available.

I used to fit an amazing amount of stuff in my saturn, but I think the
car I have now holds even more, some of which I'm planning on offering
for a bondage equipment workshop.

howzabout tickling trivial pursuit? Miss a question, get punished.
Let's make the questions in Aramaic .

Monopoly will have to be tickle-free... not fair to the other players if someone gets the Dark Blues in exchagne for 30 minutes of tickling.

I can bring uno and a deck of cards, maybe monopoly, stuff like that.



ooooh! I just had a thought. It'd require some very, very, very accommodating volunteers. We could make poker chips of tickling. Instead of money, they'd be tickling opportunities: "I'll see your 30 seconds on Ticklkitten's feet and raise you a minute of being tickled by LeeAllure."
As long as we work out ler/lee crossovers, it'd be fun. The 'demononations' would be pre-determined (the white chips have similar values, etc).

Actually, that's probably an unworkable idea. But it seems like it might be worth talking about.
