Oh no! Flash drive with tickling clips broke!

My flash drive with tons of tickling clips snapped in two when my laptop fell to the ground. Luckily I think that the actual board with the memory stored on it wasn't broken. But getting the data off the board is something that I would need a professional to do for me.

I am wondering if anyone knows of a data recovery company that I can trust to do this for me. Naturally, most people don't understand the tickling fetish. The last thing I want is some 25 year old techie showing everyone else in the office all of the tickling clips that "some perv" stored on his broken memory card. Even worse, you know how people are nowadays. Someone could decide that I am a serial killer with women tied up in my basement because of all of these tickling clips. I really don't want the police to show up at my door just because I have tickling clips on my thumb drive that I am trying to repair.

What I would like to do is find a data recovery company where they don't even look at your files, where maybe they encrypt everything to make sure that your confidentiality isn't violated or whatever. Does anyone have any advice? There were seriously years of tickling clips stored on this thing, and unfortunately for me, I also recently lost all my old data on my computer, which is the other place where I had this stuff saved. I also lost tons of personal, non tickling documents as well, like tax returns.

Oh man. That sucks. I had to bring my computer in for a virus a few times and always felt funny when i picked it up. Did they see my tickling pics?? But, looking back, as long as its legal, who cares what they think? Good luck DC.

Yeah my usb drive died a few years ago. I had hundreds of tickling clips on there. I was able to get a few files off before it completely died. Anyway good luck!

No I'm sorry I don't know anybody, but I know how you feel. A few weeks ago my usb hard drive started acting up with all of my tickling clips on it. I started to panic, so right before it stopped working completely, I had copied all of my clips from the hard drive to my cpu. Luckily all my clips were saved, but now my cpu was full to capacity, so I went to the store and bought a new usb hard drive and this one even had more space on it. So yeah, it's sad all of your tickling clips could be gone just like that without warning

Any computer repair place can transfer files...

Porn is common these days... The tech guys should be cool enough to not

take your videos for public use...meaning show your videos to their buds..

In the future back up your files as a matter of normal operation...

Be careful with your videos... Sometimes they are hard to replace...

...Also, remember that the primary use of USB drives is so that content can be copied to a computer, edited or viewed then put back into the USB drive, not streamed straight from the USB drive. Even this cycle is limited so I'd suggest a small hard drive with big capacity.

I learnt this after my 32GB USB drive with my tickling stuff on it died last July, thankfully a close friend is a whizz at I.T stuff involving file recovery, and a bonus is that she knows about my tickling obsession (and lets me indulge now and then, lol). She told me to use a Hard Drive and explained the above USB information to me.

I do hope though that you can find someone who can recover your files for you mate, good luck.

I don't know about trust worthy file recovery places, unfortunately, but, from what I understand from a friend whose dad is an I.T. guy for a living, they don't even look at your files. They pull the information off the device, slap it on a C.D. or something similar, and then send it straight back to you. In other words, if you find someone, odds are they won't even see all your porn.

If you have your own car, drive to a computer repair shop in a suburb that you doubt you'll ever go to again, get them to do it, and don't worry about what they see since you'll never see them again.

If you feel like coming all the way up to the area of Newark and Montclair, New Jersey, I'll be glad to refer you to the shop that did an excellent job of reconstructing data from my flash drive when it was in even worse shape from having been corrupted.

I accidentally stepped on my external 250 GB hard drive, and it completely destroyed the processor on it, causing me to lose a good 30-40 fetish videos. It was quite tragic, most of them I can not replace. But yeah, porn is a very common thing, I'm sure they won't go showing it around. Like others said above, always keep a back up on your computer.
