The pictures are gone. I used to have the same problem with Geocities and Tripod. If you create an HTML document for your photo,
they generally won't pull it. For example, create a bogus page about pedicure techniques and make the photos a part of the page. That used to work for me.

Again, if you put the photos in the body of what appears to be a relevant and legitimate web page, they won't disappear (at least that's the way it's gone before).

The photos don't work!

Could someone please email the photos to me?

I mean no disrespect to anyone. However, the photos don't work (they have exceeded their bandwidth with Geocities and they are not there). Dragging the address to the address bar will not work. Because the photos are not part of a web site, Geocities keeps pulling them.

If they were part of a one or two page site on pedicure techniques for example, they would not be pulled. However, because they are just individual photos, Geocities is zeroing in on them and pulling them down.

If anyone can view the photos, would you please email them to me? My address for receiving photos is:

However, the pictures *are* there. As I said before, though, if you have no success, come back and you'll find them -- not those annoying red Xs.

Another try -- someone please help!!!

I STILL CANNOT VIEW THE PHOTOS, AND I WON'T BE ABLE TO IN THE FUTURE.

For most of us, these photos will NOT ever be viewable due the fact that Geoicities will constantly pull them down just minutes after they are back online. There is no "trick" to viewing the pictures. The problem resides with Geocities and the manner in which the pics were posted (standalone photos are constantly pulled down).

To ANYONE who can view these photos... PLEASE SEND THEM TO ME.

I will gladly put the photos online at another location.

SOMEONE PLEASE READ THIS!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!

I have posted this message before, but nobody has gotten back to me so I will try again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Furthermore, I've read the most recent posst to this thread and it's obvious that my previous messages have been ignored or dismissed.

Before I go any further, let me say that I work for an internet / web page design company and I do know how to view photographs on the internet.

The pedicure photographs will not work for many of us (I could give you the technobabble, but the end result is still the same). Due to the way various internet providers and servers are set up, the photos in their current locations are unavailable (and that does include the HITW site which Scooby listed yesterday -- that site only contains one photo --- a picture of a young woman in a midriff T-shirt).

Geocities is continuing to pull the photos down (and they will continue to do so). ***** Please read this part -- it is important. **** Geocities has a standing policy of pulling any photos which are posted. They WILL allow web pages. If you have photos and put them is the body of a web site they will NOT be pulled down. SOMEONE PLEASE NOTE THIS FOR FUTURE REFERENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THERE ARE NO TRICKS FOR VIEWING THE PICTURES. Waiting will NOT help.
Right or left clicking will NOT help. The problem is being caused by
the way the photos were posted.

ATTENTION ANYONE WHO CAN VIEW THE PHOTOS: Please right click on the pedicure photos and save them to your computer, email them to me, and I will put them online where EVERYONE can see them. I'm glad to make the photos available for everyone. I just need someone to send them to me.

SOMEONE PLEASE SEND ME THE PHOTOS. I just tested my email account and it IS working. However, my email account does have file size limits. If you try to send me the photos, it might work best to send them one at a time. My thanks in advance to anyone who can do this?
