Hi,

I was wondering why the sound in your clips is messed up? It's almost always overdriven and a pain to listen to. I would like to enjoy your clips but this has always deterred me.

I've asked this question on a recent uk tickling thread and received an answer. See my posts to get there.

Hi,

I have to disagree with you - as I explained in the other post, loud screaming near to a mic almost always results in some distortion. With the level of screaming involved in those clips in question (a fairly small number of my models actually scream that loud - Angelina, Ruby, Tammie etc) it's understandable and unavoidable without shooting in a recording studio or a massive room. I can live with minor distortion on the peaks - I am more concerned about getting smooth audio throughout the clips, which is clear and free from echo/background hum etc, along with high quality, well lit video - and beautiful, ticklish models. I'm personally happy with the results and with the feedback from my customers.

If you have to pass on my clips, that's totally up to you. I'm not sure why you needed to randomly post this in here though. It would be better suited to the discussion section or a thread related to one of the clips at least.

I know what you mean. Several times it seems incredibly loud. I think they jack the volume up deliberately somehow to make otherwise quiet or normal volume laughter sound ear piercing as a marketing scheme or something. Clever if you ask me.

That's one honestly one of the most ridiculous things I've read for some time...it never ceases to amaze me what passes for logic in some people's heads

I feel that is a little harsh. After all, I've long suspected that you manipulate the visuals to make plain looking girls like Izzy, Sam Tye, Chacha and Hannah Claydon look more attractive than they actually are.

Dammit you knew...well in fact, they're actually robots I had constructed by my team of scientists. It took years of development to get the 'scream level control' fitted to the backs of their heads so I could accurately simulate the effect of them going nuts when being tickled!

I would have got away with it too if it wasn't for you meddling kids... ;)

I thought they were robots!!! :)

Can you build me one?

Keep up the great work Turtle!! First off it's great, second it inspires conspiracy theories!

keep up the good work turtle! never had troubles with strange sounds, seems all natural to me. a little advice to others get new speakers?

So the distortion is actually generated at source. Have you considered fitting each robot with a DI box? (Where could you plug in the lead?)

p.s. If you are not using the Rachel Taylor robot any more them I'm sure I could find a use for it ;)

Thanks TMJ :) Sure I can - just send me your desired specs over and I'll get my R&D guys working on it...I warn you, they don't come cheap though these artificial tickle ladies.....

LOL....just read turtle's responses. I concur, it's hilarious.

Thanks guys! :)

Manipulation theories aside, I think the point is that some of your sound levels seem to be higher than most other media so before playing them we have to turn both the media player and system volume way down, especially if others are in the house, it could be a little embarrassing. I'm not into gags but maybe some fabric over the mic would help.

The free previews last longer than many others and that's very cool, especially in HD, thank you.

The content is always more than expected, thanks again!

No doubt, lol! That'll be the later version with the enhanced frontage then... :D

The Mark III? (not that I'm comparing her to a Ford Escort) I was quite partial to the Mark II to be honest but the important bit above the shoulders remains untouched fortunately.

Thanks sole7, I'm glad you enjoy the previews :)

Yeah, I thought we should leave that bit alone! :)

Are you worried about it affecting your sales. Personally I find your previews really commercial, the models aren't ticklish and i wouldn't buy them.

jd. you haven't included the usual bit of crappy info and advertising that usually go with every useless comment you make. are you slipping?

I think it is healthy to get a bit of balanced debate. Could you point me in the direction of a clip that ticks all your boxes? I have looked back through your posting history but can only find examples of things you don't like. If you can provide a link to a thread detailing examples of clips you like or can reply to this thread with some positive examples then we have something to discuss. Personally, I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with so we can delve deeper into what you mean by "really commercial" as I am particularly intrigued by this comment and it has really got me thinking.

No, as I don't see it as a problem. Momentary audio distortion affects a very small proportion of my clips where the models really scream their heads off, and as described earlier it would be almost impossible to avoid entirely when shooting in a small space. The clips affected are also among my best-selling and the feedback I get from customers is as positive as ever. If a person doesn't like a clip and chooses not to buy it that's fine - I don't expect to please everyone. I'm happy that sales in my store and website are healthy, and that people who buy my stuff enjoy it.

By 'commercial', I'll assume you mean what others would describe as 'professional' since there is no ham acting, scripting, plots etc in my clips. The lighting and video quality is good, as I work hard at it and take a professional approach. The models are primarily professional, published, well known UK glamour models, and very attractive as these are the girls that I choose to book. They are all ticklish, as the ones that aren't simply never get released - my regular customers and followers all know this.

A lot of people have misconceptions about what they see as commercial tickling production 'companies'. I am still a one-man operation, and don't own a studio - this isn't even my full-time job in fact. I'm more than happy to have achieved what I have with the resources I've had and I look forward to it getting bigger and better in the future.

...the trouble with perceived success, is that it acts as a magnet for trolls (the same is also true of these threads!)

i don?t really care if you are really really successful or not successful at all. i just don't think much of your videos. usually i just put up and shut up with the stuff made by some people on here. until i finally can't handle the bullshit any more. if that makes me a "magnitised troll" then so be it. sorry for being a dissenter. I hope you enjoyed my only other thread! as for your models being ticklish......i don't think many are or i think there must be something wrong with me. in terms of "really commercial". Any thing which is factory produced for money is "commercial"!. The word "really" is an adverb i have added to express my strength of opinion. Glamour models are really commercial and are probably not the best choice for neither porn sex nor authentic tickling. but if it is all you can find then good luck. everybody else seems to like it anyway

"By 'commercial', I'll assume you mean what others would describe as 'professional' since there is no ham acting, scripting, plots etc "

"A professional ticklee"??? Maybe that is where the problem is.

I think spotmanc, Laugh out loud and italian amateur tickling, little red head are the ones that spring to mind first but there are others. some are 50/50 in there feel like ynotoes. more so years ago. there were more amateur contributions from real ticklers and ticklees who just clearly loved the theme. i find that i am simply ignoring and not opening more and more stuff on TMF nowadays.
