I did this some time ago, and the incoming calls to my cell phone (except for my family, friends, or business related stuff) have dropped to ZERO! It works. If you haven't done it yet, you really should.

Never in a million years would I pay for a telemarketing call. My cell phone provider would have to collect it over my dead body.... and even then, I'd haunt them from beyond the grave!

Just wanted to back you up here. I also registered a while back and it has been well worth it. There was a time when I was getting quite a few telemarketing calls, but the do not call registry has completely stopped it. It should be noted that it doesn't go into effect immediately, so any who hasn't already, I'd suggest signing up as soon as possible if you want to avoid the inconvenience.

It's not even true, Mitchell. It's been propagated for the past five years that cell phone companies were going to release cell phone numbers to telemarketers, but it's simply not true. Check out the link that bugman provided.
