Chephren, seems like you are talking about a story idea. If that is correct, you have most of it worked out. Sit down at your keyboard and start writing. Then add dialogue by imagining what you would say. Reactions, to me are harder because I haven't been tickled much. But, if you have, then those won't be that hard to write. You may need to write and revise several times until you are satisfied. Once you are, post it on the Post Stories forum OR send it to someone and ask for help fine-tuning the English. If you want someone else to write this up for you or with you, you should also post your scenario idea on the Request forum.

Actually, I'm pretty sure he wants to make some kind of a video or something. At least, that's my interpretation of 'I seek interested somebody to make a true data base with scenario or Clip.'

In fact, the original French says 'Je cherche quelqu'un intéressé pour faire une véritable BD avec scénario ou Clip.' It looks to me like that was supposed to say something like, 'I am looking for someone interested in making a real movie or clip with BD' -- I'm guessing 'BD' was supposed to be as in BDSM, but the cheap online translator he ran it through turned it into the French equivalent of 'DB'.

Of course, most of this is guessing, since I don't read much French and the English reads like a bad comedy routine about the dangers of relying on free automatic translators.

Wait -- maybe I'm wrong. There's a part at the end about 'it will need to be illustrated' and 'I am not a draughtsman'. Maybe he's trying to make some sort of comic book? Or is it some kind of multimedia thing with illustrations and video clips?

I don't know. It's impossible to figure out what he's talking about without knowing French. Perhaps he should post in the International forums, and forget about trying to use languages he obviously doesn't know? (Not trying to be mean or disparaging, just making a practical observation.)

That makes a lot more sense. I can understand completely what you're saying now. There are still errors, but they're relatively minor and do not block comprehension.

In your previous post, it looks to me like you used an automatic online translator. I would caution you against this if you wish to be understood. Because the translators mindlessly translate word-by-word, with no context, they often fall ridiculously short.

If you know enough English (or have a friend who does), you might want to rewrite out some of your description again manually. Some of it, you could figure out, but some of it was just hopelessly muddled. Or, as I suggested before, you could just try the International forums and post in just French.
