Hard to not say that it isn't. It does serve other purposes, but let's be real, the piracy is what drew people to it. And it's not like Pornhub watched for pirated content in any serious way. Unless a producer was actively watching for content of theirs, things were basically unchecked on the piracy front. I remember someone pointing out here a while back that Pornhub accounts with older clips were usually left alone because the producers are no longer in the industry. Ergo, they're not checking to make sure that they're content isn't pirated. Will Pornhub going down do anything to piracy? Likely not. One spot goes down, two to three more pop up.
