Everything really escalated when she came in with her "solemates is mad because I didn't give him any attention" words. That seemed to rub everyone the wrong way. And she kept making these taunting posts trying to sound sweet but was being very sarcastic and trying to get a rise. It then turned into everyone trying to prove she was a scam, a fake, etc.
Hi there. Since you've mentioned me twice now, I think a few things need to be said.
Firstly, and this is obviously worth a separate debate, but... when I first started making videos I made two vows to myself. One, that I would never be a skeeze towards a model (or potential model). And two, that I would never attempt to mislead potential customers as to the circumstances surrounding a particular clip. I'm sure it's hurt me some over the years, because there's obviously a market for clips where people swear up and down that no really, this wacky scenario totally happened and I'm going to sell it to you. It's a personal opinion, true, but what the OP is doing isn't "marketing". It's a bait and switch. Is it wrong? Yes. Is it any of my business? Not really. I'm free to recognize the trick and not buy her stuff, which I didn't. However, as I said back on page two, I think that everyone should be aware of what they're getting into, and not make their purchases under misleading circumstances. And I was going to leave it at that. I reported the thread because I know the mods take fake accounts and catfish seriously here.
I was even willing to ignore the DARVO bullshit, but when the mods didn't do anything and it continued to escalate I popped back in to let people know that perhaps someone else should report it in case they missed it for whatever reason, and to let everyone know that when I'd approached "her", I'd done so in good faith. And I had. I'd originally figured we could discuss a gig if she was interested in meeting. Then the insults started.
I'd have just ignored them, but what didn't sit right with me was the public accusations. MrCool and Meangry can freak and froth all they like, but as I am a producer I do not appreciate the stories being made up about how I'm just being butthurt and vindictive when, as I said, I approached this person complaining about not getting any "action" with the notion that maybe I could offer up a solution that worked for everyone.
I posted up the E-mail to show that what actually happened is the
exact opposite of what this person was calling me out for, and I don't think that's unreasonable. I'm not her type? Big whoop. Kim has been bugging me for a gig for weeks, maybe I could have set her up with that F/F session she was upset she couldn't find the
last time she posted a thread if she didn't want me touching her. But there was absolutely nothing in her messages to me to suggest that she'd told me she wasn't going to meet me because of how I looked. And when someone cooks up a story about me on a public forum, and I have the means to set the record straight - especially where recruiting a model is concerned - I'm going to do it. Under normal circumstances I'd have considered it unprofessional, but... well, it's pretty obvious we're dealing with a loon here. And I hate to say it, but the only reason you guys know about it is because I spoke up. And I spoke up because I don't like seeing customers get duped. If you want to hold that against me... knock yourself out. Do you know
why that comment rubbed everyone the wrong way? Because
people don't like to be duped, and at that point it was obvious.
