His eyes were green in Sonic 3 yep... The thing is in the "Sonic story" His eyes goes green because he absorbs the emeralds so often...
I personally like them green, think it looks good.
But doesn't matter what colour the eyes are, as long as the game is good I'm sure the fans will be happy.
It better be good mind.
Yeah the Sonic and Sega-All star racing is really fun, it's quicker than Mario Kart and a little bit more fair =)

So Hari m'boy... what say you? I'm definately buying it the day its released since its only supposed to be about $5... I dunno if you saw the ending part, but it makes me ecstatic for Episode 2... unless its just rehashes of Sonic CD and Sonic 3. Sega proved they can make a decent 2d Sonic... now be original dammit!!!!

It's tough to be original with a Sonic game, especially since it's going back to 2d... Run fast, roll through things, jump through things, get high score, beat bonus stages and beat Robotnik. I'll be interested to see what they'll add to the game for Sonic 4 but instead of trying to tinker with originality what they should do is bring back a level of difficulty similar to Sonic 1 as I thought that was the hardest of the 2d Sonic games. (never able to play Sonic CD) Sonic 2 and 3, I felt, were far too easy.

Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 were by far my favorite sonic games to date. I was hoping for more sequels, but they didn't make any.

Aside from those, Sonic 2 was my favorite of the 2D games. I remember my cousin and I playing through it over and over as kids, switching from Sonic to Tails back and forth.

I always thought that was cool that they had Tails as AI until someone picked up the second controller and took over.

I played the original Sonic games to death when i was younger, I'd like to think this new game will be good, but its early days yet.

Early days or no, the entire game got leaked months in advance. The game looks good to me, with one or two acts as exceptions, but what bothers me is that the zones in this episode are all rehashes of zones from Sonic 1 and 2, hence my comment about worries that episode 2 may be rehashes of zones from CD and 3(3&K). Either way I'll buy this since its cheap, and I'll just hope some of the glitches from the leaked footage are fixed by release.

Sega have been so quiet about Sonic 4 for the last month or so, I think it's because of the leaks. Plus the feedback. Apparently this thursday will see a big update on the game, I really hope this game is good =D

Despite being leaked in its entirety, Sega isn't releasing the game until the fall so they can fix the physics engine and add polish to it. Hopefully they'll remove the mine cart and slot machine acts and replace them with legit acts for their zones too. Maybe add a zone or two more so its not the four basics and then the final one. Still excited though, not gonna lie.

I'm bored so I'll give an update on Sonic's almost-return to glory. Sonic 4 is nearing release, with Sega having promised a "Fall 2010" release and having released trailers for two of the five leaked zones from episode one. Its looking much more polished than the leaks and I'm still excited for this game, more than anything else... save for maybe Mass Effect 2 on the PS3. Check sonic4.com or whatever the website is for the new trailer of "Lost Labrynth Zone" which I know I ruined the spelling of but I'm too tired to care.

Good news: Sonic 4 Episode 1 comes out on October 12th for the PSN and WiiWare, and the 13th for the 360.

Bad news: Its $15, which is pretty pricy for a 5 zone game if you ask me.

Depends on the size and length of the levels, Sonic 3 was 6 Zones of 2 acts, and that was a standard priced game back in 1994. But if its a good game then i dont mind paying anyway

So what's everyone's thoughts on the game? It's pretty much a nod to sonic 1 and 2 with the level design and the end bosses. Labyrinth Zone was my favourite, good fun level to play.
It was very easy though until the last boss which took me a few goes to figure out Since it really took me by surprise when he starts going crazy with the leaps and the lasers.

Found the physics weird though he didnt really gain any speed if you rolled down a hill like he would in the old games and it felt a lot slower in general. Music was fairly forgettable as well which is rare for a sonic game.

I thought it was good, definitely took me back to Sonics 1 and 2 for sure. The special stages were decently tough, especially going for the latter Chaos Emeralds as time was short and the mazes were long. Last boss is tough and I still am trying to get the no damage achievement for the 360 for that boss but hopefully soon. I wonder what the future episodes will be like and when they'd be released...the game might have been easy but difficulty wasn't necessarily what I went for when I bought it. I wanted something to take me back to old school playing of Sonic games and Sonic 4 did that for me. Besides...*SPOILER ALERT*


























The graphics for Super Sonic were freakin awesome!

EDIT: It might look like I contradicted myself but after I posted my last comment I thought about it and came to the conclusion that I loved the game for the game itself and not the difficulty. I wish it were a bit harder but it didn't bother me at all that it wasn't.
