Soooo I must fight..again.

So I had surgery done. They biopsied a lymph node cuz they suspected my cancer returned. Then I got sick w/ URI (Upper Respiratory Infection) while recovering from the surgery.

Now I get a phone call today telling me my cancer DID come back. After surviving for 7 years, I have been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, again.


I am not upset nor sad because of it. I look back at all of the opportunites and experiences I received from being a cancer patient and I wonder what this time around will bring. I will share everything with you all and answer any curious questions you may have. There is no such thing as a stupid question. This is gonna be an interesting journey.

I dont know any treatment or surgery plans as of yet. My doc will call me tomorrow and tell me what the next step is going to be.

Great attitude! It's always better to have "I'm going to beat the shit of this cancer" attitude, than to start feeling sorry for yourself. Keep fighting hard, and before you know it, you'll be telling everyone you're 2-0 against cancer!

Oh jeez, I am so sorry to read this news. I have a mother who just had two cancerous lumps removed from her breast, as well as the lymph nodes on her left side. I will always hold, in the back of my mind, the fear that it could come back. I wish you all the good fortune in the world, beating such a horrible illness once again. I will be praying for you.
