Have you experienced this....

I seldom order anything from the internet but when I do it is most likely tickling related. Generally the service provided by most of the TSP's (Tickle Service Providers!) is good but I have noticed that when I order from one in particular, there is about a 1000% increase in spam.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Sorry, my choice of words was probably misleading. What happens is shortly after I have sent in an order I start getting all variety of emails from invalid or incomplete addresses, mostly in html format with offers for sex with just about everything, miscellaneous offers for glorious products that I will never need, etc, etc.

My suspicion is that the company that I placed the order with is selling my address to mailing lists to kind of increase their profits and I was wondering if this happens to others or not.

To avoid misleading the jury, I will not say which company this is...yet.

Unless you're ordering from a company I'm not familiar with, I don't think they're the cause of the spam...at least not directly. If you've visited other adult sites, and especially if you've DLed anything, it's quite possible that you have spyware on your system. The company you're refering to may be on their trigger list. You go to the site for more than a quick look and it sends off a message that you're interested in "adult" material. Result? You go on several lists to start mailing you crap you don't want. Just a thought.

I hate spam too....both kinds. I never got the attraction of regurgitated "meat".

i've had the same thing happen

but i'd say it happens with more than one company, as i've noticed an upswing in junk e-mail after ordering from a couple different companies. mostly ads for porno sites, and viagra.
viagra? shit, who needs that? just watching a guy, and girl tickling gets the juices flowing for days! lol.

...I don't do any adult sites as most of them don't know how to tickle my fancy!!!

...and besides, why would I do that when I've got you guys? along with the best stories on the net!!!

I actually have a special address that I give out just for internet orders... so all the spam will go there and not bug me at my 'real' address.. It's worked pretty well so far - if it gets too full of the sex emails, I just change the address.

I Hate Spam as well.... may not get as much as some people here do! but still it does suck
