Hello everyone, just wanted to see what people thought about the stories posted in this grand forum. There are no right or wrong opinions. People have different tastes. I am just curious about something and figured I would ask.

Does an actual plot matter to you when reading a tickling story?

This is kind of like how tickling videos are produced, or even porn videos. We have a group of people who do not care about plot at all. Just something to set the scene up, then just go all in on the tickling part. That is what makes a tickling story works for them. The actual tickling scene, the plot is just there to be there.

Then there are those who prefer to read an actual story, and the tickling scene makes it more exciting. The way the story flows sets up the eventual tickling scene and gives it a purpose and meaning.

Any of the folks that have read my own work know that I am heavily plot driven as I want to set up the tickling scenes and make them make sense. It requires a lot more work and effort to do it this way, but Like I said, there are no right or wrong opinions, it is all a matter of personal preferences.

So, does it matter? I would love to see what people think.

In both reading and writing stories, I want there to be an actual plot. Also, the more realistic the plot, the better.

Doesn't really matter a whole lot to me. What I don't want to have to do is read 4 pages of lead-in before it ever gets to any tickling!!! If I wanted to read a book, I'd go to the library!

Plot absolutely matters in a story! It's an emotional rollercoaster for me to learn the Ler's motivation, how the Lee got in their predicament, and feel the anticipation of the action that's coming. It doesn't have to be a big long novel, shorts can be just as powerful, but the plot and purpose that leads to the action has to be there for me.

A while ago I thought back to make a list of true stories to tell, and what stood out were times when there was something going on besides the tickling. Friendships, rivalries, games, visits from the police, vanilla lees and first-timers, etc.

When I think about shoots or sessions where I simply met someone and tickled them, it's not that it wasn't fun, there's just nothing interesting to write about. She arrived. She looked like this. I tied her up and tickled her. HAHAHA.

Endless HAHAHAHAHAs get boring to type; I figure they must also get boring to read.

I think the same thing could be said for a Role-Play. Some people need them, some don't.

Probably no surprise to anybody who reads my work, but I love a good story to go with my tickling. Now, does that mean I can't enjoy a story without any real plot? Sure I can, and do. I also write these sometimes as well, because they can be fun. However, I can't say I don't prefer one over the other.

I love plots. Especially the more realistic ones. I'm not really into fantasy stuff, although I realize a lot of people are. I guess at my stage I can only relate to the realistic stuff.

What I like - details. The way a lee reacts to something specific that the ler does, or vice-versa. The worst tickling stories out there are the ones where the ler goes 'tickle tickle tickle' and the lee goes 'hahaha!'. This is a fetish site, so I like some nuance in my stories.

What I'm not always a fan of - long, winding introductions. Again - a personal preference, but if I have to scroll down 4000 words before the tickling begins, it's a bit much.

To the degree that it gives some kind of context to why the tickling is happening. A mad scientist who thinks tickling can cure some disease. I secret society (Eyes Wide Shut type) that use working class people as playthings. A monster from another demantion (like the Bogeyman) who sneaks into people dreams or even physically appears in there presence and tickles them to feed off the psychic energy of their victims panic or fear. An alien abduction, and of course the single greatest plosy device THE BURGLAR. Any one of these could be a good plot tool, especially if you are planning an ongoing saga, and even more so a lee getting revenge on the ler. There's not tickling quite like revenge tickling imo.

For me, I can honestly answer yes and no on every point because it varies based on my mood and what I am looking for at any particular time.

Great question. Can’t wait to read more replies.

A plot could make things more interesting, but I prefer the short "get to the point" versions. Any more than a couple paragraphs and I bypass it.

personally I prefer comics to stories, after all a picture is worth a thousand words

Great responses! It is good to see that people do prefer plots in the tickle stories, but let me ask a slight twist to the question. Do you prefer an actual story that includes tickling, or a tickling scene with a plot attached? I hope that makes sense.

For me, I like stories that include tickling. The focus of the story is on the characters and the plot, but the "action" in the story is a tickling scene. Much like how we all love tickle moments in a movie.

Then you have a tickle scene where the focus is the actual tickling action, and a plot was attached to it to kind of have it make sense as to why they are tickling.

For me I believe I've always included a plot. But I don't think persay all tickling erotica needs a thick plot. Just a light one to set the scene.

I only tend to write about my true experiences, but I like to set the context, hopefully instil some sense of emotion, describe the lee and what they’re wearing etc. It’s what I’d want from a story, so I try write the sort of story I’d like to read.

Cheers, everybody,

Exactly this :)

Writing is a talent, and not everyone has the talent to know that fine line between meaningless details versus descriptive passages that truly put you in the frame of mind of the people in the scene. It's not really so much about having a "plot" for me as it is being able to bring me into the scene with just your words. Some people can write one or two paragraphs and I'm there, while other people need to fill the page with words to get me there. The opposite is also true. Some people write hundreds of words and say nothing.

I'm not sure I agree. Like anything else some people are more naturally adept to writing, whereas others need to work harder at it. Somebody with a lesser knack for it might just right out a straight forward fantasy, and improve as they go along. As long as you're open to constructive criticism you can get better as you go. Just like art, or dancing, or sports. Pete Rose wasn't called Charlie Hustle for nothing you know :)

I don't think we're as far apart as you think. I never said that talents can't be developed and refined. I'm just that when someone has that talent, it makes the story much better.

I never got the concept of the porn videos where the action is portrayed as mother screwing son. That's always been an odd one.
