I have been addicted to Garfield ever since I was a wee little lass. My entire bedroom used to be Garfield. I still get the daily comic emailed to me. I love how he's always so sarcastic - but still gets put in his place every once in a while.

I'm reading Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz right now. It's not the best I've ever read, but it's good.

5th Street Diner, baby. Every important event in my life has 5th Street Diner thrown in there somewhere.

Always, all the time, as much as I can. I have a ton of favorites, but I recommend everyone pick up a Neil Gaiman book every once in a while. His stories and the illustrations are always beautiful. Check out the Sandman series ploz.

I've been reading The Hunger Games and Catching Fire. AMAZING books.

Yes, lots of'em. I probably have a favorite from several nationalities, Greek winning out. (Not very hard to win out in that town.)

I have blinds, but curtains kinda make things look more pretty and put together and homey.

Some of the best writers in the West are writing comics, not books. I personally love Zits, Dilbert and Doonesbury, but I'll read the shitball Blondie, Beetle Bailey and Mother Goose & Grimm too. My all-time favorite though is Calvin & Hobbes; if you want to know everything about me and my life from 1984-1993, read all of Calvin & Hobbes; it's almost pure autobiography.

Gaiman, Alan Moore, and Mike Carey are indispensable.

Haven't been reading books for a while because I'm so slow with them. But The Road was fucking awesome.

I switch between Denny's and Perkins, but mostly Costco because it's cheap and filling and delishuss. My town is not known for its culinary arts.

Blinds because they're easier to clean and they don't hide spiders very well.

The only comics I read are on Dilbert.com and the Order of the Stick. I like Dilbert for the drawing style, as well as work-oriented humor. I like OOTS because it's a D&D-related comic, and it's actually funny.

I don't often take pictures, but as tasteless and typical as it is, I'm proud of this one that I managed to "catch" yesterday. My son was innocently counting on his fingers (Yes, he WAS counting. We did NOT teach him this!), but he was counting only one finger at a time, and spent a little long on number 2. It's a crappy cell phone picture, but I'm proud that I was able to actually get my phone out, turn on the camera, and catch it before he moved. Any parent knows it's NOT easy to catch a toddler in a pose and pull off a picture.
