Stop It.You're fucking things up for the rest of us.

About 30, I guess. I'm just starting to feel like a grownup.

Ethics.

Fallout: New Vegas. The Gawker network. Making fetish art of my wife in DAZ3D.

Who I used to be. I don't like him very much.

1.) If you had the oppourtunity to get your message across to a large group of people, what would your message be?
"Human race...stop what you're doing and help each other for the benefit of your entire species. Middle East - stop being so fucking fanatical...West and Far East - stop being so fucking greedy." I probably wouldn't live long after saying that.

2.) How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?
24

3.) What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?
Becoming a college student in America at 17 years old when I first arrived here. I learned the value of a foreign accent too late, and at 18 it was thicker...and...well...college girls.

4.) If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
Ropework.

5.) What activities make you lose track of time?
Video games. And sex.

Everyone who's tried to give you answers to the big questions in life is wrong about everything.

As old as one hand clapping?

Everyone more successful than me.

7.) When was your first impression of someone wrong?

8.) What life lesson did you learn the hard way?
That almost no one has any goddamn idea what they're talking about, ever.

9.) What are some of your biggest pet peeves?
Cell phones. Pop-up advertising. 3D.

10.) Who was the last person you said "I love you" to?
My sweetheart.

1.) If you had the oppourtunity to get your message across to a large group of people, what would your message be?

Don't take life so seriously. Relax; no one else knows what they are doing, either.

2.) How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?

I wouldn't know, would I? In some ways, 50, in others, 5.

3.) What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?

I regret not dealing with some issues back when they first sprouted, as opposed to waiting until I had no choice.

4.) If you had to teach something, what would you teach?

Well, I do teach many things, but if I had to teach something else, I'd go for improvisation.

5.) What activities make you lose track of time?

Video games, reading, conversing with those I am interested in.

6.) Who do you sometimes compare yourself to?

The ideal me who lurks inside my subconscious.

7.) When was your first impression of someone wrong?

I spent the first year of college hating the person who would wind up becoming one of my best friends.

8.) What life lesson did you learn the hard way?

The perfect relationship does not exist unless you are willing to work for it.

9.) What are some of your biggest pet peeves?

Hmm, off the top of my head. . .

People who drive slowly in the passing lane.
People who are generally rude without realizing it.
People who are rude, realize it, and find it humorous.
Cigarettes (Sorry, Jo.)
Not being able to find something I'm looking for, when I just had it 5 minutes ago.

10.) Who was the last person you said "I love you" to?

My wife.

1.) If you had the opportunity to get your message across to a large group of people, what would your message be?
"We're ALL growing apart from each other! Take your headphones out of your ears! Put your gadgets away! Make eye contact and smile at people! Have conversations outside of SMS!" Problem is, nobody would listen to me, and I'd get bored and start playing with my phone.

2.) How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?
It'd be hard to gauge. I look younger than I am, but I act older than I am, in a sometimes grumpy and curmudgeonly way. Since I apparently don't know my age, I'd have to consider the possibility that I was actually a vampire. Then I would have to wonder why the sun wasn't destroying me, and why I wasn't really craving the blood of others.

3.) What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?
I still wanna go to professional wrestling school.

4.) If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
Pistol Marksmanship and weapons handling fundamentals. Much like martial arts, it's not only important to know how, but also when one should use a firearm.

5.) What activities make you lose track of time?
Reading Cracked.com articles. It can almost have that "Wikipedia effect" where you link from one to another repeatedly.

6.) Who do you sometimes compare yourself to?
Many different people. Under many difficult circumstances, I visualize people I know who have been in those situations and handled them well. I then try to handle them the way those people would, sometimes envisioning myself as them.

7.) When was your first impression of someone wrong?
I couldn't tell you my first, but it actually happens quite often. I can get along with most people, but in some circumstances, I'll meet someone who I immediately don't like, without reason. I then later find out that these people are actually really cool, and I wonder why my mind sets off bells and whistles that are completely false.

8.) What life lesson did you learn the hard way?
All preaching about adapting to circumstances aside, nobody who is a square peg should feel inadequate about not being able to fit into someone else's round hole (Get your mind out of the gutter! :p ).

9.) What are some of your biggest pet peeves?
Thoughtless people who don't consider or care how their actions affect others, horrible drivers, people who post 100+ pictures of themselves on Facebook that are essentially the same picture, my tiny couch that I can't completely sprawl out on, running out of coffee creamer, being late for work or class, people who smoke in their cars without the windows rolled down (You're depreciating the car!), or inside their house (That too!), and anything else that causes me to grind my teeth from stress, giving myself daily headaches.

10.) Who was the last person you said "I love you" to?
My wife last night before bed.

People who don't seem to understand common courtesy and bad drivers are right up there.

10.) Who was the last person you said "I love you" to?

My mother on the telephone at 3pm today.

1.) If you had the opportunity to get your message across to a large group of people, what would your message be?

1.) If you had the oppourtunity to get your message across to a large group of people, what would your message be?

The importance of an education and how it can help ending ignorance and bringing the world closer because it helps us realize how similar we all really are. There would probably be less hate, less misunderstandings, and less anger in this world if more people exposed themselves to new ideas, cultures, and peoples. Education can definitely open doors to such things.

2.) How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?

I have always felt older than I really am. If I had to pick an age it would be probably my late 20's/early 30's. I don't really click with people my age (early 20's)...I just don't enjoy doing a majority of the things they do. Maybe because of such hardships in my childhood it made me mature more quickly than usual, I dunno, but I feel older than I actually am.

3.) What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?

I would regret if I never fulfilled some of my most important dreams and let other things or people get in the way of them. Getting bogged down with other people bullsh*t can keep us from really focusing on ourselves and our dreams. I don't want to have any type of major regret like that when it comes to major life dreams and ambitions I have.

4.) If you had to teach something, what would you teach?

Not had to teach...what I will teach (starting this Monday!)...which is World History 101 to a bunch of college Freshmen. My dream is to teach a European history course ^^.

5.) What activities make you lose track of time?

Reading, Facebook, watching movies, drawing, listening to music

6.) Who do you sometimes compare yourself to?

Sometimes I feel like Elizabeth Bennett because I am too stubborn to see what exactly is in front of me and know what exactly I need. I am no black sheep like Lizzie Bennett was, but I am a lover of books and stubborn men just like she was :D and how she wants to have a place to fit in and wants more than what is expected of her.

7.) When was your first impression of someone wrong?

Step-sister. Was always a really sweet kid until about 2 years ago and then she became a she-witch, and she still is psycho and I NEVER saw that coming. I know there is such a thing as teenage angst...but she takes it to the next level X).

8.) What life lesson did you learn the hard way?

That eventually we all lose someone important to us. I was lucky enough to not lose any close family members until my 20's. Then I lost my sweet grandma in May 2010. I never realized how much losing someone slaps you in the face and reminds you of your own mortality...and how it feels like you lose a piece of your heart when they die, and even though time moves on and things calm down there is always that void in your heart where that person once was.

9.) What are some of your biggest pet peeves?

Shrugging shoulders, tapping pencils, people not using their blinkers when changing lanes, that clicky noise that is made when you text on your phones with keyboards, people who text during a movie or conversation or at a dinner table! Ugh :p

10.) Who was the last person you said "I love you" to?

My ming :bubbleheart:

My friends.

7.) When was your first impression of someone wrong?
The one that I remember happened a couple of years ago. This gal who is now my coworker would stop by the store on her way to her previous job. Then Kay hired her and I learned I was so completely WRONG!!! She's the opposite of what I thought. :D

8.) What life lesson did you learn the hard way?
How to manage my money. That was painful.

9.) What are some of your biggest pet peeves?
Impatience, rudeness, text-speak

10.) Who was the last person you said "I love you" to?
I think it was Bugman when I last spoke to him on the phone. Otherwise, I can't remember. :blush2:

29 for the 12th time.

3.) What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?

Very early in our relationship, my best friend and I had a few, huge misunderstandings. Think crying for so long and so hard your eyes swell shut kind of misunderstandings, prompted to go into therapy misunderstandings. I am sure a few people thought/think I should have just walked away. But if I had I would have missed out on the wonderfully fucked up, beautiful, and symbiotic friendship he and I have and the relationship I have with his daughter and the chance to be that female/mother type figure in her life that I never thought in a million years I would experience.

4.) If you had to teach something, what would you teach?

Art history

8.) What life lesson did you learn the hard way?

Silence is golden.

9.) What are some of your biggest pet peeves?

I think Bridget Jones's Diary described it best - jelly fishers, people that pay you a compliment only to then "sting" you with a backhanded comment.

10.) Who was the last person you said "I love you" to?

My sister, or maybe my mom.

I'm not sure. In some ways I feel like I'm still 16. In other ways I feel 25 is pretty accurate.

3.) What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?

I'd regret not fully doing the things that I know will make me happy, but I'm afraid of doing. I'd regret not fully being myself. I'm not good at being anyone else. I only know how to be me. I'd regret not fully having people surrounding me who love me and make me feel amazing. I can't live without it.

Like, in school? Probably Psych or Literature

5.) What activities make you lose track of time?

Anything I find enjoyable can make time get away from me.

I don't know that I'd consider it a life lesson, but I've learned in what some may consider a "hard way" not to trust anyone...almost ever.

I hate when people put the "t" in "often". I hate when I can hear people chew. I hate when people point out awkwardness, thereby making the situation MUCH more awkward. Good work. :hmm:

Everyone? ;)

SS

Yep. It was when I first joined the community. I didn't really post much, and when I did it wasn't anything of substance. I didn't talk to anyone and then wondered why no one talked to me  As soon as I started to get to know just a few people, and especially after my first gathering. I realized how wrong I was. :)

I realised I was wrong on July 27th, 2010. The first impression was several days beforehand.

8.) What life lesson did you learn the hard way?

To be more cynical.

9.) What are some of your biggest pet peeves?

Speling and grammatickle erors, particularly when it smacks of someone who can write in a perfectly legible fashion, but refuses to do so on account of their way being "easier".

10.) Who was the last person you said "I love you" to?

Mum. :]

1.) If you had the opportunity to get your message across to a large group of people, what would your message be?

That art is vital, and getting in touch with your creative side or engaging in the Arts is crucial to your well-being.

2.) How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?

I dunno, 20-something? :idunno:

3.) What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?

The standard 'I would regret not having family and friends' answer. I would also regret not fully living my life out of fear of what others might say about my decisions.

4.) If you had to teach something, what would you teach?

I would teach Pimp-ology of course :jester:. I'm not much of a teacher honestly :).

5.) What activities make you lose track of time?

I feel like I've answered this before, but listening to music and writing. I blame music for most of my time loss though :)
6.) Who do you sometimes compare yourself to?

7.) When was your first impression of someone wrong?

There have been a few times. I do try not to assume my first impression is correct, and let the second and third encounter sum up my impression. I've still been wrong sometimes :D.

8.) What life lesson did you learn the hard way?

Turning the other cheek works good in theory, but it's not really effective in certain situations :).

9.) What are some of your biggest pet peeves?

Mean people. People who take themselves too seriously. People who have no sense of humor. Telemarketing calls made by computers :jester:.

10.) Who was the last person you said "I love you" to?

My youngins :D.

Geez, I hate this new forum set-up. It's killing me!

1.) If you had the oppourtunity to get your message across to a large group of people, what would your message be?

I'm not into spreading anything aside from good will to others. Usually, if someone has a message to spread, it's bullshit.

2.) How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?

Probably 30.

3.) What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?

Sex.

4.) If you had to teach something, what would you teach?

Common courtesy. Something this generation seems to lack.

5.) What activities make you lose track of time?

Playing Yu-Gi-Oh!

6.) Who do you sometimes compare yourself to?

Nobody. I am my own person. Once I start making comparisons, I'll never measure up.

7.) When was your first impression of someone wrong?

An ex girlfriend of mine. Deep down, I knew she was trouble, but the physical attraction blinded me.

8.) What life lesson did you learn the hard way?

Trusting people. You can't trust anybody, not even your own family. EVERYBODY is looking to get over on you.

9.) What are some of your biggest pet peeves?

People that can't drive... If I listed everything, I'd be here all day.

10.) Who was the last person you said "I love you" to?

My wife... and she forces me to say it because she thinks everyone says it all the time just like those sitcoms on tv.

1.) If you had the oppourtunity to get your message across to a large group of people, what would your message be?

You're versus your. Seriously. It's not that hard.

28.

3.) What would you regret not fully doing, being or having in your life?

Not having kids would be a big regret.

4.) If you had to teach something, what would you teach?

I already teach something, music. I guess I'd teach social studies if not music.

5.) What activities make you lose track of time?

Anything related to playing saxophone.

6.) Who do you sometimes compare yourself to?

People I see as farther along in their careers/life than I am.

7.) When was your first impression of someone wrong?

All the time. Students are horrible about first impressions, and I always have to revise them.

8.) What life lesson did you learn the hard way?

I learned not to touch the car cigarette lighter after touching it and burning my finger. Ouch.

9.) What are some of your biggest pet peeves?

Grammar issues, being inconsiderate and unaware of how your simple actions affect others.

10.) Who was the last person you said "I love you" to?

Fiancee.
