It doesn't really bother me. I do snore really loudly so if I get stuck next to someone else who does, I don't give them a hard time about it. I can sleep through just about anything.

I typically refuse to discuss politics in general. I'm not knowledgeable enough to debate with people. My opinions are based solely on my experiences, and most of the time that just is not enough to make people see where you're coming from, so I don't even bother. I ask questions and share my opinions freely with one person. I can count the other people I'd even be willing to entertain the idea of discussing politics with on one hand. Most people are intolerant assholes and only give you the specific pieces of information that support their point of view. That's not the kind of discussion I want to have, and that's not how I want to learn. Ditto for religion.

Yes. Chemists always get burned at one point or another. You are always working with fire. Once I picked up a glass rod that was very hot. burned the heck out of my hand. In that regard I highly recommend Butesin Picrate a great ointment for burns. Takes the pain out and often stops any blisters from happening.

I rarely have any change, to begin with. Many times I feel that the primary difference between me and them is that I actually have obligations. Also, around here, there's quite a few scammers who pose as homeless people, sometimes making upwards of about $1200 a day from standing on highway exits with a sign, claiming to be a homeless vet, etc. Kinda ruins things for me as far as thinking about the people who actually need some help.

I have to do it frequently. I simply try to tune it out. I can't do much else about it.

It has nothing to do with friends. I can't say that I really have many political opinions, to begin with. My interest in politics is limited by my lack of knowledge. I don't like commenting on things when there's a potential for my opinion to be ignorant of all the facts, and there's simply too many facts to keep track of where politics are concerned. It just seems silly to me to watch people get into heated arguments about issues that I don't think anybody completely understands.

You can agree and disagree, but to one owns self be true. Nothing in today's world seems "black and white" anymore. There are far to many shades of gray to label.
