Got into a bit of an interesting topic in the chat: Which do you prefer when tickling someone's feet - toes curled or toes spread?
Both are wonderful of course. They mean to me that the tickling is being quite effective. I had one lee I nicknamed "Iron Toes" because she curled her toes so tightly I could only get her to uncurl them by tickling her in one of her unbearably ticklish spots until she relented.
I think I lean toward curled toes as my favorite. But I could be convinced to swing to spread toes.
Of course, a book could be written about the movement of toes from tickling. Toes can be like the canary in the mine..You might be tickling someone and she (I'm an old m/f guy but use the pronoun of your choice) is not responding until you see this small twitch of her toes. Perhaps involuntary. But it tells you your tickling is having an effect. She may be trying to hold it in, but that toe twitch tells you to keep going. The tickling will win out. In a minute she will be either curling or spreading her toes and probably both.
