Many, many months ago I played around with the idea of creating another art portfolio just like "TechTickling" (which was published through MTJ Publishing). It was around the time when I first started doing entirely digitally colored art. I finished 4 pics, mainly to test out the newly discovered digital medium on my typical machine-themed art.
But then I started on an entirely different project, and "Visions of Gargalesis" was abandoned.

Rather than letting them gathering digital dust in my archive, I thought you all might appreciate it if I shared these pics with you.

So here's the first one. Hope you enjoy, guys.

Wow... how deliciously sadistic can you get? Well done, Scavenger. Your work is always top notch but this particular piece really shines to us heavy bondage fans.

Crushertitan: Thank you very much! :) I got some more crazy works in this mini series that are just as merciless. ;)

Bashiku: Like I said, I started on an entirely different project, well, perhaps not so different, but this material wasn't usable for it. The concept of an art book was abandoned anyway, I must say I rather prefer doing comics. ;)

Is this how one summons up visions of Gargalesis (the eye-masking would seem to necessitate inwardly-directed nightmare examination)? Or is Gargalesis perhaps the name of the satanic mechanics involved? A device so fiendishly anthropomorphic (though in a fractured way, with its leagues of intestinal input/extraction conduit, delicately selective talons and headdress-like array of poised arms) certainly demands its own identity... one likely to inspire awe and terror, as does the Molock machine from "Metropolis". The pitch-black pallet, engulfing the artfully delegated elements of humanity, is darkly eloquent of a nuts-and-bolts Tartarus, hell by mortal design. With no human torturer in sight, fleshy-metal intimacy is stark and achingly efficient. "Just you and me, babe!" it soothes in a toneless rumble! And are visions 2 through 4 equally dire? The merciless rigor of greased gears would seem to demand it, but we can only wait and see!

LBH: Whoa... umm...
Thanks my friend! :)
Actually the word "gargalesis" is a term borrowed from obsolete victorian-age science to indicate "torturous tickling" (as opposed to "knismesis", which is "light tickling"). The "visions" part refers to my own wisions, or rather dark fantasies. The title of this particular piece would have been "Cognitive Supression". The whole art book would have been filled with (abused) scientific terminology, something I like to mix and mingle with my art. :)

Now only thing we need is Final Fantasy battle victorious music, Scavenger waving his giant sword, and Dae disappearing as every monster :p

Tickler Dae: Hehe, Thanks man! :) I'll post the next one by the end of the week.

Bashiku: Totally. :ggrin: That Final Fantasy 3 (or 6) victory tune from the SNES would fit nice. :)
