It’s a great clip and I have read a few threads before about this play.

I remember one guy ( across the pond ) saying he was drafted into the show as one of the villains and the unlucky girl had no idea about the story line as they added the tickling in on the first night after worrying she would pull out of the casting line up. Apparently she was absurdly sensitive on her feet and he got to give her nylon clad soles a good tickling for five nights in a row.

I’ve looked for clips of this scene on and off on YouTube. Being a theatre person, I find it so interesting people do this show. I bet it’s because the rights are much cheaper than well known shows. It’s so rarely done, in fact, I don’t think it’s even written for adults, I think it’s written for middle schools to do it. We use to do lame shows like it before they got Jr. Versions of well known shows.
