Cincinnati Bengals ( 2-10 ) +9 @ Pittsburgh Steelers ( 9-3 ) 1:00pm ( CBS ) - Pittsburgh was up by 20 last time, & Cincinnati did just enough to cover. I am not making the same mistake twice.

Cleveland Browns ( 5-7 ) +1 @ Buffalo Bills ( 2-10 ) 1:00pm ( CBS ) - I'm picking this game purely on a hunch.

Green Bay Packers ( 8-4 ) -6 1/2 @ Detroit Lions ( 2-10 ) 1:00pm ( FOX ) - I believe Green Bay will cover in the 4th quarter with a go-ahead score or a game-sealing score.

Atlanta Falcons ( 10-2 ) -7 @ Carolina Panthers ( 1-11 ) 1:00pm ( FOX ) - You could have made this a 14-point spread & I still would have taken the Falcons. Meanwhile, I can't name the quarterback in Carolina without looking it up.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers ( 7-5 ) -2 @ Washington Redskins ( 5-7 ) 1:00pm ( FOX ) - I think this game could get ugly on both offense & defense for Washington.

St.Louis Rams ( 6-6 ) +9 @ New Orleans Saints ( 9-3 ) 4:05pm ( FOX ) - I believe St. Louis will beat New Orleans outright in a shootout.

Seattle Seahawks ( 6-6 ) +4 1/2 @ San Francisco 49ers ( 4-8 ) 4:05pm ( FOX ) - I'm not buying San Francisco's comeback chances to take the division. Some guy named Alex Smith returns, but that's nothing to cheer for.

New England Patriots ( 10-2 ) -3 @ Chicago Bears ( 9-3 ) 4:15pm ( CBS ) I don't think the Bears are that bad, & I do believe that this is one of the few defenses that can install a traffic control plan & execute it against the Patriots offense.

Miami Dolphins ( 6-6 ) +5 1/2 @ New York Jets ( 9-3 ) 4:15pm ( CBS ) I believe that the opponent after a blowout will have some difficulty in keeping this close, especially considering the gap in talent level.

Denver Broncos ( 3-9 ) -4 1/2 @ Arizona Cardinals ( 3-9 ) 4:15pm ( CBS ) - I can't believe that Kyle Orton will be a difference-maker here, but Arizona is on its third quarterback. Expect strangeness & bad football.

Kansas City Chiefs ( 8-4 ) +7 @ San Diego Chargers ( 6-6 ) 4:15pm ( CBS ) - Everyone & their grandmother is taking the Chargers. However, there's an important streak alert: Brodie Croyle I believe is 0-9 as a starter. Therefore, I'll take the Chiefs outright to squeeze San Diego away from the division title.

Philadelphia Eagles ( 8-4 ) -3 1/2 @ Dallas Cowboys ( 4-8 ) 8:20pm ( NBC ) - For some reason, I smell a close game here. Division Game, National TV. I'll take the points.

New York Giants ( 8-4 ) -2 @ Minnesota Vikings ( 5-7 ) [Edit: Monday Night on Fox] Streak Alert: New York has lost 4 straight to Minnesota. Also, I vividly remember the 4-interception performance in 2007. However, I believe that Brett Favre may feel generous this week. Therefore, I'm taking the Giants here.
