What does everyone do for a living?

I'm a professional slam poet who competes on the national circuit. I'm also the Writing Director for a non profit where I'm paid to go to local juvenile centers, high schools, and universities to each them how to develop their creative process for poetry. I also go on tour a lot throughout the United States as well. I just got back from guest lecturing at UC Berkeley for their creative writing program while I was on tour in California.

I am a professional floral designer, 3rd generation in my family.

I work full time as a building manager for a conference centre and want to return to my roots soon in managing a theatre or arts venue.

I also work freelance as a musician

I work as a freelance specialist, providing services for college and professional sporting events and occasionally various non profit groups. It's a competitive and challenging industry to make it in, and being young and comparatively inexperienced compared to most of my peers is quite daunting.

I've worked so many odd jobs to make ends meet just so I can keep working towards my career goals. I've worked in a machine shop, two warehouses, a call center, worked with a produce farmer, and have done yard work for countless people. Yeah it sucks to have a college degree and to find myself doing such tasks to chase my dreams, but I have no plans to throw in the towel.

Working part-time in a Mongolian grill, in the process of becoming a shift manager.

I make flood waters that come here go over there thus bothering other people and not my people.

By training, a geologist. But, because of where I live now, and the wonderful economy, I'm part-time at a major retailer (that has it's own problems these days :fingerscrossed:).

I used to be a Locomotive Engineer but am now enjoying early retirement :)

That was my dream job... except it would be a wood stoked steam loco in the 1930s Appalachian mountains. ....alas.

hotel receptionist, also college student (music production) with some crazy ambitions and goals
