well i was thinking of this and I know i'll get some wired replies but what if i built a pair of heavy duty stocks made from legos? do you think it would hold or break ?

you would have to restrain the hands, if the lee had the chance they would probably un-build it.
and you would have to make them heavy!
other then that i think that it would hold!!:D
lego-stocks.jpg

i suppose that these are to small:D

well if i glue them which i can do make the wall 3-5 inch thick i beleave it will hold up. plus i am not a good tickler so that improves the chances

I think if you had a spastic 'lee you would end up with legos all over the place.

I suppose they could hold, if the legs were also restrained at the knees. Either way, I don't imagine they would be very comfortable, and you don't want any discomfort to distract the lee from focusing on the tickling sensation.

I would consider using glue to be cheating, but I think it would be possible to make a set of stocks using glue that would hold, just not very likely. For it to work I think you would have to use a non lego locking mechanism.

while glue might be seen as cheating consider that is what they do at lego land I would allow it.

If you did use glue then it would be possible, plastic glue can be very good and if it made for the plastic you are using then once set then it would be stronger then the plastic itself.

But in order for it to work it would have to be well planed out with whole sections been planned and glued together. You would need it done in such away that either the locking system is in many parts so that the pressure is spread around and rather than having single support for the stocks you would need a few.

But it would work considering lego houses can be built in multi floors and they do allow adults to go up the lego stairs.

That being said I think it would be a novelty restraint at best I don't imagine a set of lego stocks to be very conformable for the lee.

Remember, if you do glue it, though, you have to get them out later.

I'd love to see someone try to build these purely for the fun of it all, but I doubt they'd hold all that well. Just my 2 cents. :D

legoland

well yes they use them in lego land all the time i mean here in Cali (been there 3x) a few times rain and wind so they use a heavy duty glue type to make tuse they do not fall apart. I could also say use the lego men (such as Lego Batman Joker Indy Jones as well Star wars ppl) i could make some sort of a tickling scratcher as well i mean it be a challange for that one but the stocks i know i can do it. as far as ther dis comfert well use some sort of pilliows there for the ankles (can't have pain)

save your self the time and trouble..

and get some soft leather cuffs... and you're in business. But if have to use 'building blocks toys' try some Lincoln Logs :)

what a interesting little topic this is. It would make quite a cool(but probably very short) little clip to have the lee's legs tied down so that the only movement left is in the ankles, and then they would have to shake themselves free(i suppose the tickling would cause enuf of this), lego everywhere, great fun. I'm sure there must be a lego fetish out there, this could make a nice little cross over. :D

ok well building blocks are for like toddlers and such no way it stand up to the force or pressure. lincoln logs?? ok well very short type toys and well not very good to use

well i dunno but i'll comment on a few things you said "It would make quite a cool(but probably very short) little clip" Well dunno about a clip like a movie? well i be too dang nervous to pull that off (nervous of the cam as well to shy and shaky about a free willing lady tickling her feet

"I'm sure there must be a lego fetish out there, this could make a nice little cross over" well as i said i own lots of lego i love the lego star wars indy jones as well new batman release and no its not a fetish for legos it a hobby like a guy collectiong hot wheels

Oh i'm fine thanks, cant say the same for my browser, odd malfunction there, all cleared up now :)

Very true but it could still be done in a number of ways. The stocks would likely have to be in two parts like traditional stocks. Now how they locked together would be upto the stock builder. A standard method would be to have some sort of joining system around the outside of the stocks but to be honest I don’t believe this to be the best way to tackle the problem.

But what could be done instead is to have hollow sections in the stocks I would go with a few with slight indentions in the hollow sections. The top half would have the shafts that were glued separately so they can turn, but built into the top section. When the two sections are in place the shafts could be turned and this would lock the stocks very securely in place. An additional outside locking system could also be used so that they hold.

If you didn’t use glue then it wouldn’t work. Lego is meant to be able to come apart with ease. But with glue that changes things in a big why. Use some plastic glue on 2 parts of lego then after its set try and get the two parts apart. It is a lot harder than you think and plastic glue on plastic is a lot stronger than super glue. It takes much longer to set but is much better long term.

I am almost tempted to start buying in lego to see if this would work :woot:

well can drill a few holes on the sides of the lego stocks and then put a few screws in there and then make it come with 2 parts but would have to use like a regular chair to have ppl sit in though. but yes eveythiong is possable i mean i called legoland asked how thay have the places staying together they said they used small cement like a 1/2 teaspoon of it had have it sit and do one section oine at a time.

I think they'd have to be padded...those little edges, especially on the bottom of the lego, are kinda sharp. Plus, the lego-ee's skin would have little round holes with the word "LEGO" imprinted in backwards. Explain that one away!

if you do this. make sure to add a hindge joint so you can open and close it so the lee can get in and out of it.. with out destroying it

Hmmm...Let the lee out...now why would I want to do that...:woot::feets:<<<<----

you see, now you have me thinking.
i have loads of lego from my childhood and i reckon i could make a very crappy set.....

trust me, no matter what you make, it will be awesome!!:D
