What was your first piece of Tickling Media?

Man, I'm really glad I started this thread! So many clips I remember seeing myself growing up! Here's another scene I completely forgot about, but it came from a video game:

In Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, there's one cut scene where a Troop of Toads (Toadstools) demand that you hand over the Star you just acquired. Naturally, you say "No" and as soon you do the Troop sends one of their members into the town elder's home and dialogue shows up telling you that the Toadstool tickled the old man as a form of punishment for not handing over the Star. Every subsequent time you say "No" the Troop sends in 2, 3, and ultimately 4 Toadstools at once to tickle the Old Man.

I was young, but I must've been intrigued in a sadistic way because I remember saying "No" over and over again, wondering what the scene inside of the house looked like. xD

For me, it was the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles episode called The Great Boldini where Zach and Caitlen are tickle tortured on their feet with a feather by Don Turtelli. That got me interested in Tickling.

I remember seeing it on various kids shows growing up, like Sesame Street and random cartoons. Hard to remember the very first time though.

I remember seeing it in several cartoons (ie Popeye, Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers, Looney Toons) but the time that sticks out in my head that I remember most, is like many others who've already commented. The TMNT episode where April O'neil gets it.......I think that's the equivalent of the Farrah Fawcett poster of the 70's for ler's growing up in the 90's.

This might be a weird example but aside from the cartoons mentioned already, I used to obsess over an old disney cartoon called "tiger trouble" where goofy is pinned down by a tiger who rips off the bottom of goofy's shoe and licks his foot, causing goofy to have a great ticklish reaction. Odd that I liked it do much when im not into male tickling.

I'm shocked I haven't heard this one, but mine was Rugrats. I guess I'm younger though. There was one where the grandpa was a wrestler and his rival tickled people into submission.

Great question . . . . . offhand I'd have to say the black and white Popeye cartoons most likely. Olive Oyle (sp) got tickled at various times.

Thanks,
K
this one for me also.. or it may have been the lauren and hardy movie "way out west".
steve

I would say it was either TMNT's or the scene from Gummi Bears, though i deffinitly remember one scene from "Bobbies World" and the Raggedy Ann and Andy movie as well

You Can't do that on TV where the host has a leg cast is pushed into a garbage can and is trapped and foot tickled, also TMNT the episode where I think the 2 reporters were abducted and tickled for information they did not know and later tickled by aliens, remembered thinking that would be fun.

Earliest I can remember

Two come to mind:

An Archie comic book where Reggie Mantle tickles Archie Andrews to make Archie drop something he's balancing on his head.

The famous Three Stooges Space Ship Sappy film, where Amazon cannibal women tie Moe Howard, Larry Fine and Joe Besser to stakes and, presumably to get the Stooge's blood pumping hard for when they bite their necks, tickle the right foot of each.

I also remember Olive Oyl getting tickled in Popeye. But the first tickling scene I remember watching was in the cartoon Huckleberry Hound. There was a scene where he got tickled by a spear as far as I remember. That made a great impression on me back then. Today I would probablly think it was horrible :)

If I think back far enough..for me it was the Popeye cartoons. I watched the
re-runs of them when I was very young...Olive Oyl got it and Popeye got it
as well. Then TMNT...April Oneal got it. The first real person tickle I remember
from mainstream media was from some furniture or clothing store commercial that ran
in the early 90's. Around 93-94..It had a middle aged couple laying on a couch, the
husband yanked of the socks of his wife and foot tickled her crazy.:D It was an excellent
mainstream scene, but I can't remember much more about it. It really sticks out in my mind,
because it was the best tickle scene I'd ever viewed up to that point..LOL

Bridge Ahoy, the Popeye cartoon where Bluto tickles Olive's foot while she dangles by that very same foot from a girder, is the first mainstream scene I remember. As for non mainstream tickling media, my first attempts were limited to issues of Leg Show, which was always short on tickling material and what there was of it was never that good. But the first tickling video I ever purchased and viewed was California Star's Fickle Finger of Fate, which featured the one Cal-Star model who I was certain never faked her reactions, the lovely Shelby, who appeared in other Cal-Star videos such as Rent Control and Tickling Dick, which was mentioned earlier in this thread.

Not the first (mine was the April O'neal as well), but there was a tickle torture scene in an older sonic comic (featuring tails).

As for actual tickling media... I can't recall if it was Real Tickling, Tickling Paradise, or feet online that I stumbled upon first. Probably RT. Before that I do remember coming upon a.. might have been a geocities page of pics featuring two girls taking turns to tickle each other. I seem to recall or associate it with the word "noeyes" or "tickle-bliss" but I can't recall past that. The site has long since been taken down and I lost all but a few of the core pictures I really enjoyed. Saddening because they had some really good pictures. Ah well.

For me it was first the cartoons that all have mentioned followed by some skits on the Carol Burnett show. But the biggie for me was when I saw the movie "The Brothers Karamazov" on TV in 1981. That to me was the best mainstream scene ever where Gloria Pall was tied up and had her feet tickled. Great scene...and little did I know that 18 years later that she would would write me and we became friends and I convinced her to write a small book on her tickle experience in the movie!!! Yep...now that is a memory ;-)

peace out,
daddy

Probably the McDonald's commercial from the 70s. I also remember Carol Burnett tickling Harvey Korman on the Carol Burnett Show when he was faking a leg injury.
As far as "tickle porn", I bought my first "Leg Show" magazine in 1991.
