Hunted #1 released May 3rd, you can buy it off our website www.the-agencies.com today! We're following up with the subsequent release of Hunted #2, ready to hit the shelves May 17th. Two releases of the same comic line in one month, that's quite exciting.

It's now been a week since Hunted #1 released, and it is safe to say it is a hit with our readers. Yurihausen's beautiful artwork coupled with a rich science fiction setting and intricate storyline have left people wanting more. And we're more than happy to deliver it with this next installment.

Of the publications I've been privileged enough to write for with Agency Publishing, this was probably the biggest responsibility to date. Oblesklk gave me primary writing duties for a series that only had a first issue. While some of the world was set up in issue 1, there was a lot more to explore, to map out, and plan for. It was a lot of conversations about the world, the characters, the technology, the tone, etc. It was a lot of work. But it wasn't the sort of work that felt like work. We were making something new, even if it sprang out of The Agencies timeline. And that's always a rush. This setting gives us sci-fi technology and settings like we haven't seen in any of our other lines. It's been a long-time nerd's dream come true to write for. Seeing Yurihausen's exquisite renderings of the images I had in my head, that always seem to be so spot on, is a great feeling.

I hope you will have as much fun reading it as I did writing it!

Hair Whip!

Here is a production still we never released with any of the books. Lae'Shaar isn't much of a fighter, yet she can use her hair to perform some defensive maneuvers. We thought it would be cool to see her twirling and pulling off a hair whip to unsuspecting assailants.

Thanks, we certainly appreciate it. These two issues have absolutely been a labor of love, having spent months in pre-production trying to find the right talent, going through an entire production of #1 using traditional 2D art, scrapping that issue (which came out perfectly fine) after committing a large imvestment into it, finding Yuri and knowing his skill set would be a perfect love connection for what we were trying to do, then spending months perfecting the look and feel of the universe after Yuri came onboard.

Thanks Azhrezil, you've hit the nail on the had for what we were going for. "Saw Effect" was a possible title for the series, but would've made a confusing choice, at best.

and asked everyone what they wanted to see in our books. TheWhiteEnglishMan had a great suggestion on varying the locale and the characters in some of the books to be non-American. He has a great point, and we took it to heart. I could only think of one major character in all of our comic lines that was non-American (Doctor Collins is British), so diversity is the name of the game. Candace is British, Vicki is French, and Lae'Shaar is as alien as it gets!

It is very professional and I like the fact that your customers some kind of co created some of the points which will take part in the comics. Referring to your question about Candace : I personally see her as the strong leader who does not want to show any weaknesses. She knows that she is ticklish and that this is a very critical point in her life because one of her pillars is the discipline. The second point is that she is the Commander of the Unit and has a certain Paragon function. Vikki for example seems to respect her and the way she is making decisions. So she would do everything to withstand the tickling and try everything not to laugh. So our " Saw Effect" Tickler needs to really find a sadistic method to bring Candace to a complete ticklish mess.

Yeah that were my thougts so far about Candace. I have a few more about Issue 2 which I would like to share with you(For those who haven't read the issue yet no worries no Spoilers).


I loved the facial expressions of Vicki in this issue. Especially in the first moments of tickling where she is trying everything to hold back the laughter. By far the best facial expression I have ever seen in an commercial tickling Artwork.

Second I was fascinated by the cruelty of the tickling method this time which reminded me to the diabolical methods of the Jigsaw. The man who had this idea is a truely genius.

And last but not least I really LOVED the way of shoe removal by Vicki(with this kind of Laser). This was always some of my fantasy to see a sci-fi comic with this kind of shoe removal. In the first issue it was the nylon tearing of Emily and in the second one this way of removing the footwear. Please keep this tradition of baring the victims foot in a special way. It is awesome.

Yes, when we posted that entry on our dA, we were deadly serious about taking that feedback to heart. When we first started out selling comics, we got all kinds of feedback because we honestly weren't very good at it. As we slowly got better, the feedback really stopped coming in. Which is good in a way, it means your customers are happy. But I always want to dig deeper and really, truly figure out what our readers want to see. Are there systemic things we can change (in how you buy the books, their format and file type, how the site is laid out, etc), or is the feedback more content specific in nature (I want to see more feet, I want to see less feet etc) ?

Anyway, we will always welcome your guys' thoughts with open arms.

That is what we are aiming for. We are not particularly interested in the torture porn aspect of Saw, nor do we wish to show horrible and gruesome things in our books. However, implied? Sure, why not?

And I fully agree, Yuri did a great job animating Vicki's expressions this time around. You really felt her perspiration, fear, and torment throughout the scene.

Just finished reading the two issues and I have to say this is really fantastic work. I have never read any fetish comic which had such good characters and well visualized torture scenes. My favourite is Commander Candace but I also love Vicki. It was amazing to see her sadistically tickled like this in the second issue. When will we get to see Candace tickled? In the next issue? Any plans when it will be released ? I'll buy it definetely. GO ON WITH IT GUYS. YOUR ROCK IT!!!!

Awesome, glad to hear you like the theme with this one. This series has really resonated well with folks and we're very glad to see that. We want to work for years and years with Yurihausen and delivering what you guys want to see!

Starting with these first two releases of Hunted, Agency Publishing is going to attempt something it's never done before. We're going to have a release date for a new book every other Friday and see if that doesn't kill us after a year or so

We know our fans have always wanted more (more! more! We definitely have been listening to you) so we will try this out for a bit and see how it goes. Instead of distracting ourselves with a million side projects, we are also going to stay focused on the 7 comic lines we have now, and have them flesh each other out in the coming years to continue telling this singular, epic story. And we'll get others to help us in the telling of that story.
