Ugh, but man oh man, some of these people......you just have to gape in disbelief. If I sound like a snob, damn right. Do I feel superior? Absolutely? Above them? Absolutely. Absofuckinglutely.
I hear that our community is a loving community when you get up close to it, face to face. These yahoos though, they always kept me from making an attempt to join it........
They wear you out. You can't get away from them. Someone posts an innocuous thread about "what you're listening to?" and they hijack it with ten thousand "I'm watching Fox!" "I'm watching Fox!" all hours of the day, pledging allegiance to a television channel, to THAT television channel.....you'd think you'd be embarrassed, just to be so affiliated with one particular news source (which, I'm being generous even calling that a news source.....what have they ever predicted that has ever come to pass?). They wear it like a badge of honor that they're watching it morning, noon and night. Unbelievable. And they're the ones who complain about the media! They are owned by the media!
I take a hard line, but it's because I have been patient and open-minded with them since the 1980s. Enough is enough.
Ok, sorry, I'll rant here, where nobody reads, rather than throw a handful of dirt in some Nazi's face......that's how I see them, and that's how I'll always see them. I will never forgive or forget what they've put this country through over the last 16 years, not to mention the last 40 years......or even longer.......I mean, Nixon in the late 40s and early 50s, with the whole Joseph McCarthy crap, and the Algier Hiss case before that.......they have been nothing but a cancer on the country, and the world for as long as I can remember. At best, mosquitoes at a picnic.....relentless.......at their worst? An actual threat to existence.
