Here is a video of the upper body module in action:

and here is the latest update on the project:
I found a way to attach servos to my bedframe, so i positioned 2 servos to each side, targeted towards the upper body. Attached 2 peacock feathers to them, 2 home made extensions to wire the servos, and ran the program.
It works so far...but needs some adjustment to the program as I noticed the servos are running in opposite directions.
I did test the upper body module on myself, and i was amazed at how good it works... I couldnt even sit still, i started squirming and laughing. And the more i squirmed, i was surprised that the flexible feathers would follow my body around, so it would tickle me no matter how much i moved in place. it seems that there is no need for any distance sensors or measuring devices to follow the subject around. What it needs is just a simple flexible feather placed at the correct distance!
I will keep testing different placement to figure out the best distance to place the feathers at.
As for the foot module, I am still not satisfied with it. the module work but since im not that ticklish on my feet I dont know how effective the thing is... I would love to test it out with someone who has ticklish feet.
Any Volunteers in Toronto?
Finally, I will be adding 3 more modules very soon, one for the thighs and legs, one for the "ehem" parts... and finally an upgrade to the upper body module, so there is more action on the lower sides, tummy and chest/armpits.
The third module will be hard to implement, as i have to figure out a way to mount servos above the upper body.
If you have any suggestions on that matter, then please let me know! meanwhile, i will keep tinkering around and brainstorming/testing ideas.
Cheers...
