I've managed to avoid "T" this whole year.
Before my Aunt's passing in January, I was down at his house, and had a lunch with T and mostly his friends/they say I'm their "mutual friend" but through him,.
Ever since then, it's been one nasty comment after the next from him.
Anytime I have a problem, he either "Rubs salt on the wound" or "Takes the other person's side"
I originally had plans with him, just normal plans for this Wednesday.
"T" 's brother has been sick with Cancer for a while.
After T had many "lectures at me" this week, like he is my boss, or a father lecturing a young, bad child
I was prepared to cancel the regular plans with T for this week.
Until I found out that T's brother is in his final days, and according to T, his brother is supposed to pass away within "Three to five days"
I am going to be the bigger person.
If T's brother does pass away soon, I will attend the funeral, pay my respects to his brother, just as I did when T's mother died in 2020.
At that point, I will come home, continue to avoid T, and finally, cut bait from him
It is long past time, with as abusive as T has been to me since last year, when he went back with a gf he had been with several years ago.
T's brother's passing is a separate issue from T';s abuse of me.
I do not have to put up with T's abuse. I deserve better than that.
