Anybody else hate the term "tickle rape"?

Heya. Just thought i'd post a thread about the latest craze of ppl sayin that if some1 is tickle attacked in some way (gang or otherwise), that they say their bein "tickle raped". And i reali h8 that term :s. To link tickling with rape and puttin em so close together like that. It just goes through me and i think it's a REALI harsh term to use. It annoys me and angers me a little bit 🙁.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel similar?

Also, if you were really in you're 20's you wouldn't be saying "my generation" to someone in their 30's seeing as how young adult age range is 20-39. Furthermore, you laugh cuz I type in paragraphs. well as for your question, I have never heard tickle rape before. Also, the typing course remark was because you mentioned me typing in paragraphs, so I wanted to point out that it's just how I type. I type fairly fast so long sentences don't take me much time with any need to abbreviate. Also, despite the fact that I have a good job, typing fast definately helps you when it comes time to hiring. Nobodies gonna hire a guy to work a job in front of a computer if he can't type.

Any reference to the word "rape" should be evaluated. I've had family members who have been raped, and I don't think tickling and rape should be in the same sentence IMO.

Anyway, my comment is referring to the incomprehensibility of some people while I'm playing video games/browsing forums. Your posts struck me as reminiscent of that. Not to say that it's a bad thing, persay, but at the same time I don't prefer reading it if I can help it. Not that it really matters, though.

U mean when ppl use the term im talkin about, or just in general world terms? Im sori to hear that. I cant say i knw any1 who has gone through that myself, though i think i knw of one or two that cud have come close to it. But i believe it can b a traumatisin "experience" if u wanna call it that, one ppl likely never get over. And i hope ur family members have recovered okay from it and it never happens again.

Anyway, dont want this to b a gloomy thread about ppl actually gettin raped do we :s. But i can understand y ur so against that term probs even more so than i, and i thought i was pretty against it.

Yes i appreciate that. It was only a question. And the arguement didnt even stem from the question itself. Anyway it just annoys me a little when the point of this forum is that ppl can talk about a common interest that most others wudnt understand. So we can support each if u will. So it annoys me when ppl like him have a go at u over nothin and r so mean (for want of a better word) and agressive. I just dont c the point. And he's one of those "guys" that ppl talk about that put them off the TMF and it's a shame for the rest of us. I c u've had a bit of a feud with this guy too.

It might go a little faster for you to type the way you do (though I think that's simply because you're not "used" to regular typing), but it takes about twice as long for everyone else to figure out what you're trying to say. Not a good thing if you're making your own thread with the intent to get constructive replies, just sayin'...


But to answer your question, I've heard the term before and it doesn't really bother me. The turn-on for a lot of people is that the tickling is nonconsensual "in the moment" even though the 'lee loves it, so I guess to some extent the term makes sense to me. To each their own, some just want their sessions to be a bit "darker" than others would, but so long as it's between two consenting adults then I'm not going to pass judgement. 🙂

Im kinda startin to wish i hadnt posted this thread now. Perhaps i was a little nieve and didnt forsee the possible outcome. Coz now every1 is likely just gonna talk about rape arent they. Sorry. I thought it was still clear to understand and couldnt be misunderstood. It's not typing it's like you say, im just used to text language and find it quicker and it means i dont have a really long boring paragraph for everyone to read haha. I understand what you mean there but the clips i saw on youtube that used this term were just ppl messin about really. Nothin intense or anythin like that. No bondage or anythin. Was usually gang tickles. So i dont think they meant it in like an intense tickle session as we wud perhaps c it. They used the term rather loosely and generally. Haha yer im afraid the english language has gone down hill. I used to be more precise and that with my english, but i eventually just gave up and i was always bein told off for sendin long texts so ofcourse to shorten em, i had to convert to abbreviated versions of words. But yer every round my age seems to talk like this now. I cant understand some of the texts myself from my cuz who's the same age as me and a friend who's actually a few yrs older than me haha!
