Or, if they're very comfortable with the shoot, occasionally they work without one because for whatever reason, they're okay with being tortured for however long the segment will last for. Again, for example, when I shot "Tickled Blue" with Kim, she agreed to not call a safeword so that we could get the video done in a reasonable amount of time since the client (it was a custom) could only afford to pay for so much footage.

Exactly what you saw. It's extremely rare that a girl will sign up for a hard-core video without laying out exactly what is or is not acceptable to do to her. Possibly. It depends on what exactly they were trying to shoot. I've sat in on private group sessions where the woman in question was tickled like that until she was begging her boyfriend to let her orgasm, but ultimately it was up to him and he wouldn't do it until he was good and ready. If you're implying that some of us just throw the rulebook out the window once we've got the girl tied up and just do whatever the fuck we feel like to her... it's not unheard of, but no one with any sense does it. The ones who do eventually find it biting them in the ass, usually because word gets around and no one will work with them anymore. Conversely, they're told exactly what is going to happen once the camera starts rolling and all of it's done with full consent. I repeat: no producer with any sense violates the trust of his models, especially where potentially violent or abusive-seeming BDSM is concerned. It's a good way to wind up blacklisted at best, or charged with assault at worst.
